While steaming doesn't open pores, it can help clear them of debris, allowing the ingredients to work better.

Answer:	Always remove makeup first-use a solid oil-base cleanser (even for acnitic skin!) for about 1-2 minutes, rubbing well to remove makeup and any dirt/dead cells. Wash face with a water-base facial soap-make sure you take about 1-2 minutes to really rub your face to get all the excess sebum out. Once or twice a week use an exfoliator. Use your toner, gently pat it into your skin. Apply mask starting around the nose/eyes and let it sit from 10-20 minutes depending on the mask/personal needs. Remove mask and gently, yet firmly, pat face to maximize absorption and blood flow. Apply one or two serums, patting into your skin again. Use your moisturizer. At night you can add an overnight mask (it’s usually a type of serum). Day time use sunscreen. That’s the entire skincare method Koreans use. I have recently started this-I only do the masks at night because of time-but my skin has never felt, or looked, better. I am an adult acne sufferer and this has been the BIGGEST help.

Long answer: it is here for the long-game of fighting wrinkles and keeping your skin fresh looking during winter months or in dry climates. To decrease the visibility of acne scarring, look for ingredients like hydroxy acids or lactic acids. Most over the counter masks will not completely improve severe scarring other than in-office procedures performed by a professional dermatologists or prescription cremes, but daily application of acids are a good option in lieu of flash treatment with a strong mask that may leave your skin red and reactive.

Answer:	don't listen to the person below. You never wash your face after a sheet mask, it's basically a mask full of serum. You want to pat in any excess and apply your regular products.

Answer:	I use a different kind of sheet mask almost daily. The nice thing about this kind of mask is that you're not washing anything off after, so it's not as aggressive on your skin as a traditional wash-off mask, and can be used daily if you want/can tolerate it. There are really nice mild ones I use between astringent or brightening (acids) ones. For reference, I have oily, selectively-sensitive skin that is minorly (hormonally) blemish-prone.

Answer:	Sorry it took me a bit to answer back. The three that I have (charcoal, pomegranate and cucumber) do not have any parabens in the ingredients.

Collagen can come from many sources, and many companies use vegan collagen, so there’s no reason to think that the use of collagen indicates animal cruelty.
