To prepare and minimize the mess, you will need a quart-size bowl (preferable glass or wood - for easy cleaning); rubber/disposable gloves; plastic cap, and an applicator brush - optional. Depending on length and thickness; mine is shoulder length and thick - I use 3 tablespoons of the Aztec Clay with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of water. If you are hypersensitive, avoid vinegar (just use water). If you have longer hair, you can double this recipe. Blend with a small spatula, whisk, or fork to remove lumps. Take a small amount of dry hair and apply the product with an applicator brush or use your fingers - from roots to end of the hair. Move swiftly to apply on the entire head. Put on a plastic cap. Let stand for 15-30 minutes. Use warm water to wash out your hair. Take your time to ensure that you remove all the clay. You will feel the softness and see the revived curls! The Clay mask is clarifying so there is no need to use shampoo. You can apply your favorite conditioner. I recommend using this mask once a month.

Answer:	I personally haven’t mixed it with something else to create a spot treatment, I just bought the corresponding spot treatment. I have sparingly left it on as a sort of mask before, so I can’t give you a definite answer on whether it will work as a spot treatment. I don’t suggest mixing it because you might create something harmful for your face, but I can tell you the spot treatment of this line (Rapid Clear) works amazing in conjunction with the face wash.

Answer:	Looking at the ingredients, I don’t see why you couldn’t although it’s specifically made for the face. Because different parts of the skin and body have different levels of tolerance and irritability, I highly recommend doing a small test patch on the area you want to use it on to makes sure your skin doesn’t get a reaction. The look of it on the inside could be due to something else, but no one can know. Another user stated that there was a seal under the lid of theirs.
