3 best skin peel for acnes

A skin peel for acne, also known as a chemical peel or facial peel, is a dermatological procedure used to treat acne and improve the appearance and texture of the skin. It involves the application of a chemical solution to the face, which exfoliates the outer layer of skin, encouraging the growth of new, smoother skin. Here's what you should know about skin peels for acne:

  1. Types of Chemical Peels: There are different types of chemical peels available, ranging from superficial to deep. The choice of peel depends on the severity of acne and skin type. Common types include:

    • Superficial Peels: These are mild peels that remove the outermost layer of skin. They are often used for mild acne and skin rejuvenation.
    • Medium Peels: These penetrate deeper into the skin and are suitable for moderate acne and acne scarring.
    • Deep Peels: Deep peels can effectively treat severe acne and deep scars but may require more recovery time.
  2. How They Work: Chemical peels work by exfoliating the skin, removing dead skin cells, and unclogging pores. This process can reduce the appearance of acne and acne scars, as well as improve overall skin texture and tone.

  3. Acne Treatment: Chemical peels can be an effective part of an acne treatment plan. They can help reduce active acne lesions, control oil production, and prevent new breakouts.

  4. Post-Peel Care: After a chemical peel, it's important to follow post-peel care instructions provided by your dermatologist. This typically includes avoiding sun exposure, using gentle skincare products, and moisturizing to promote healing.

  5. Side Effects: Chemical peels can have side effects, including redness, peeling, and temporary sensitivity. More intense peels may have a longer recovery period and carry a higher risk of complications.

  6. Consultation with a Dermatologist: It's crucial to consult with a dermatologist or skincare professional before undergoing a chemical peel, especially for acne treatment. They will assess your skin condition, determine the appropriate type of peel, and discuss potential risks and benefits.

  7. Maintenance: While chemical peels can provide significant improvement in acne and skin texture, they are not a one-time solution. Multiple sessions may be required, and ongoing skincare maintenance is essential to prevent future breakouts.

  8. Alternatives: Chemical peels are one of several treatment options for acne. Other treatments include topical medications, oral medications, laser therapy, and microneedling. Your dermatologist can recommend the best approach based on your individual needs.

In summary, chemical peels for acne are a dermatological procedure that can help improve acne-prone skin by exfoliating and rejuvenating the skin's surface. These peels come in different strengths, and their suitability depends on the severity of acne and individual skin type. Consulting with a dermatologist is essential to determine the most appropriate treatment plan and to ensure safe and effective results.

User questions & answers

Question: I have had professional peels done in the past and have just purchased the 70%. How long do I wait between applications
Answer: I do it once a month but you could do it about every 3 weeks. It really just depends on how sensitive your skin is and how much you are looking to peel.
Question: Will this help darkening corner of lips
Answer: Kayla, I'm really not sure about using this product around the lips, I personally think our lips are too sensitive for this product at 70%. I have also purchased the 10% however I avoid my lip area all together. With this being said, I do really love the Divine products. I would recommend Mediderm WhiteDerm Potent skin fading cream. I hope I've helped with your question.
Question: will this peel benefit me and my 18 year old daughter. we are african american. she is dealing with very oily acne prone skin with large pores
Answer: Please keep in mind that darker skin tones are more prone to hypopigmentation (ie white spots) and scarring when using acid peels. This doesn't mean you cannot use them, just that you must be very careful. I would recommend starting with a lower concentration, such as 30%.
Question: Does this peel tighten your skin
Answer: It does when you are using a higher level of Glycolic acid of 70 % or more as the skin will inflame slightly and then it will reduce in swelling and be smooth and tight. Everyone's tolerance to the amount of time that this product will remain on your skin (face) will vary. (so will results) I left it on for 7 minutes and then neutralized it with baking soda (best) and then applied aloe and coconut oil to keep my face hydrated. This Facial peel will actually add moisture back into your skin! I look at least 5 years younger and friends and family stated how rested and younger Iooked! They asked me what I did different... Highly recommend this brand as it is a quality product and not the raw acid that others put out.

Glycolic acid dissolves the bond between dead skin cells and the surface of the skin. After the dissolving action, dead skin cells will slough off resulting in smaller pore sizes and less acne. The alpha hydroxy peel also helps stimulate collagen production and increase cell regeneration reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and superficial scars.

All Divine products are bottled in the USA in a registered Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) SOP compliant facility. Each batch will have its own unique lot number printed onto the bottom of each bottle. Includes full instructions.

Stunning Results

Divine glycolic acid peel will help you:

  • Diminish wrinkles and soft lines
  • Fade skin discoloration caused by rosacea, melasma, or age spots
  • Clear hyperpigmentation, blackheads, and acne
  • Unclog pores and whiteheads
  • Stimulate collagen production for more youthful skin
  • Repair skin damage caused by UV rays
  • Brighten and rejuvenate skin

Light Peel

When first starting the glycolic peel regimen, it’s recommended to use the light peel. This peel is excellent for those with sensitive skin because it’s less likely to cause skin irritation and side effects than medium and deep peels. The recovery period after the light peel is usually immediate. Divine’s light peel is available in 10% solution.

Medium Peel

Medium peels are great for experienced glycolic peel users and those with oily, dull, or non-sensitive skin. This peel is more potent than the light peel. Use with care and always patch test before starting a new solution. Medium peels are available in 40% and 50% solutions.

Deep Peel

Deep peels are more potent than medium peels. Deep peels should only be used by those who have successfully undergone medium peel regimens without skin irritation. These peels are available in 60% and 70% solutions.
