Question:	Is this a gel
Answer:	It is 1.5% in this 32 oz. bottle. I called the mfg. and got the correct answer. The tubes that have some text in French have 5% dimethicone. We stick to the products with 1.5%. The 32oz bottle is less than 1/2 the cost of the 4oz tubes and the tubes keep increasing in cost. We use it for my 96 year old mother who is mostly bedridden. 32 oz. can also be bought online from Walgreens for $25 and picked up with no shipping charge at your local store. The tube version that says Silicone Blends is 1% and we do not like the consistency, probably due to the silicone compounds.
Question:	Can I use this before makeup
Answer:	It is a gentle cleanser, and it doesn't feel like soap. If you require that squeaky clean feeling I would seek something else. I user it as a lotion and it works well as a sealer and moisturizer.

Answer:	Absolutely, I first learned of the cleansing lotion some time ago when I was a patient in the hospital, this is what was given to us to wash in place of a soap bar, I liked it so much, I decided to buy it to use at home , it's great to use on tissue after toliet use for a better cleansing (at the risk of getting to personal).
