Answer:	depends on how soft or hard your tap water is. Mine tests around the 150ppm range and I can get this soap to lather up using my loofah just fine.

Answer:	You mean neutral pH of 7? It doesn't say any about pH but it does say that it is gentle, hypo-allergenic with no harsh detergents or dyes. If it's a strong base or acid, it would be harsh and not gentle and this soap is described as gentle and not harsh.

Answer:	No, traditional cold processed soap can't be pH balanced the way chemical detergent based cleansers are. That being said many people with sensitive skin find natural soaps like ours to be less harsh on skin than commercial cleansing bars/washes.

Answer:	Here's an article from Harvard about handwashing: Soap and water don't kill germs; they work by mechanically removing them from your hands. Running water by itself does a pretty good job of germ removal, but soap increases the overall effectiveness by pulling unwanted material off the skin and into the water. In fact, if your hands are visibly dirty or have food on them, soap and water are more effective than the alcohol-based "hand sanitizers" because the proteins and fats in food tend to reduce alcohol's germ-killing power. Answer:	The bars do not have expiration dates on the packaging. All soaps can go bad, they can lose moisture or coagulate. This period would vary depending on storage conditions, temperature and humidity. I buy the unscented 50/50s 30 at a time. They last for months, more than 1/2 a year.

Its the combination of the Lye and oils that make soap, If you do not have lye you can't make soap. Here are a couple of short examples to help you understand Lye a bit better and why it is used in soap making:So how exactly does it work? If you had high school chemistry, you may remember that when you mix a base with an acid, you form a neutral. This is exactly what happens in the soap making reaction. The base (lye) mixes with the acid (oil or fat) to form a neutral (the soap). the main benefit of homemade lye soap, and the reason people love it so much, is actually because of its soothing properties, courtesy of the glycerin that forms during the oil and lye reaction. A lot of people are misinformed about lye. I like to compare natural soap to common table salt. Salt is Sodium and Chlorine, chemically written NaCl. Both are extremely dangerous elements by themselves but when combined they make something safe and we need it to live!So lye by itself is not safe, but soap made from lye is safe and neutral. In fact, if it was not made with lye, it is not true soap. You may notice products that say "moisture bar" "body bar" or some other kind of "bar". Answer:	It works on my iphone 6Plus do I imagine it would work on the 7. It has the lighting plug that you insert into your phone. Just plug it in, you’ll be prompted to download an App. This will give the memory stick access to the photos etc. you wish to save. Works great and only took a second to figure out. After you transfer vetify the results before you delete from your phone or device
