| Answer: | I couldn't detect any fragrance at all, and fragrances really bother me so I was glad this had no smell - it has a lightweight very fresh water like consistancy but has some density to it so it doesn't run through your fingers, it sinks in immediately and leaves no sticky residue - it's a beautiful silky formulation - you will love it. | Answer: | It is Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate which a relatively new derivative of Vitamin C however it is more stable than L Ascorbic Acid -- while it is more gentle than L-ascorbic acid, it is said to be just as effective. I have always only used L-ascorbic acid because it always gave the best results -- I have also used other derivatives of L-ascorbic acid and found them to be inaffective, however, the sodium ascorbyl phosphate gave me the same great results as L-ascorbic acid but the formula lasted longer and did not turn brown after two weeks which was exactly what I was looking for. The Eva Naturals serum stayed clear through the whole time I used it and it lasted about 4 months but gave me the same great results and is also more gentle on the skin. Hope that helps!! |
