Answer:	In theory you should be able extend it, but the problem you will run into is the non-standard connector used. You would need to find an extender cable for that 5-pin connector that uses at least 16 gauge cable to carry the amplified speaker single. If you can find cable, then you should be able to go up to about 50 feet before you notice any problems.

Most dishes have something printed on the bottom that they are dishwasher and microwave safe. These were completely plain and I'm not sure what they were actually made out of. They claimed in the description to be microwave safe but our set was not.
