User questions & answers
Question: | can I use this to make lipstick |
Answer: | I'm not sure if you're making a solid lipstick or a liquid one that you use with a wand. The consistency of this oil is very fluid with a lower viscosity than, say, Olive oil. They also have avocado butter which melts rapidly with body heat but that is much more solid than the oil...like the consistency of refrigerated butter (not margarine). I've used lip balms containing avo butter and I love them; good luck! |
Question: | Is it ok to use the oil after the expiration date |
Answer: | As far as I know yes. My oils haven't going bad as of yet, but because I use them so frequently, I rarely have them beyond the expiration date. |
Question: | Does this help with hair regrowth |
Answer: | I read if it is massaged into the scalp it can promote circulation and this stimulates the scalp providing possible hair growth. It seems it is more the massaging of the scalp with avocado oil then applying it to just the hair alone that can help hair growth. |
Question: | for cooking? thanks |
Answer: | You can definitely cook with this oil. It is light and has a great flavor. it is similar to when one would use olive oil. However I would not use for frying but broiling; baking or stove top is perfect! |

Product description
Vegetable and carrier oils have a plethora Organic Carrier Oils of fine uses which include acting as a carrier for therapeutic applications, as an excellent addition to your culinary creations, as a lathering agent for soap, and a binding medium for cosmetics. It is hard to imagine where we would be with our creations, if it were not for the goodness and substance that pure oil provides.
At Dr.Adorable INC we are committed to providing you the most magnificent vegetable oils that are unsurpassed in color, depth, consistency, essential fatty acids and key nutrients.
Every vegetable oil we offer is extracted through expeller or cold pressed methods. We do not employ the use of solvent, hexane or alcohol extraction, and we do not stock oils that have been processed through heat intensive hydraulic extraction as these methods produce relatively unhealthy oils that lack in the qualities we require.
What sets Dr. Adorable Vegetable and Carrier oils apart? Quality, that's right quality. Fresh, Pure Vegetable Oil, just what you need.
A little bit about Vegetable oils: also referred to as carrier oils and base oils. They are used in the manufacturing of cold-process soaps and for massage by Massage Therapists. Vegetable oils are generally cold-pressed and derived from the fatty portions of the plant, unlike essential oils that evaporate and have a concentrated aroma, vegetable oils do not evaporate or impart their aroma as strongly as pure essential oils.
Vegetable oils that you purchase should be natural and unadulterated.

Question: | Which is better for skin between expeller and cold pressed hazelnut oil |
Answer: | Cold-pressed oil is processed at a lower temperature; it contains a higher nutrient content than expeller-pressed oil. Expeller-pressed isn’t bad for you, just try to avoid products that contain hexane. Hexane is a chemical used to extract oil. |
Question: | Where is the USDA organic certification? Pass |
Answer: | Yes it is |
Question: | On the label it said it is extracted and in description: cold pressed I need cold pressed so what is it |
Answer: | I believe cold pressed is a form of extraction |
Question: | is bottle glass or plastic |
Answer: | It is plastic. The oil is very good. I make face cream with it and it is excellent. |

Avocado Butter Extra Virgin Unrefined comes to us from the fruit of the Avocado tree (Persea Gratissima) which grows in sub-tropical regions throughout the world. User questions & answers
Question: | Is there any oil mixed in the butter? Like vegetable oil or soybean oil |
Answer: | Hi, I don't have the answer to that question. I have to say, I have purchased a number of products from this company and recently I have started to feel a little sketched out by the quality and have moved on to another vendor. I don't like to say unkind things about small business but I hope if their reading this, they pay closer attention to the quality of their brand. I hope that helps. The other thing I don't like is the lack of transparency, in this day and age, customers want to know what's in products. |
Question: | Ia this supposed to smell like fish |
Answer: | By no means. It does have a pungent smell that I could not tolerate... they need to pull back on the fragrance. |
