| Answer: | Wash face with hot water. Then apply small amount to hands and rub over hands. Then apply to shaving area. It’s a great product with a comfortable shave. |

| Answer: | hot water softens whiskers better and I am sure activates the shave cream better, but if you use cold water it would still work...it would be a less comfortable shave and you should keep on longer before you shave. |
