Answer:	Soft to the touch but as you scoop it and rub it between your hands it softens very well for applying. Great for right after a shower!

Answer:	I am not familiar with borututu root or what is used or if anything is used to color the African Shea butter which is advertised as 100% natural. Certainly the seller should be able to answer this question more reliably than I would be.
Question:	I’ve bought Shea butter before and from what I’ve heard it was supposed to have varying colors in it. Why doesn’t this
Answer:	Shea butter does come in varying colors, but not in the same container. There's a pale yellow color, an ivory or off while color, & a bleach white color. I would avoid the bleach white color because it's processed. The yellow color & ivory color are due to what part of Africa they are made in & the different processes. But varying colors should never come in the same container.

Answer:	Not true. I think this is an inferior product. I bought this from them and mine smelled of stale cigarette too. I think its because it was burned. I have been using shea butter for two years and never had a batch smell so horribly. I returned the product twice! Buy elsewhere. I buy mine from Cleopatra's Choice now.

Answer:	I have used it on my face.. but try not to put so much
Question:	At what room temperature will Shea Butter become soft enough to apply to skin? I read someone said they had to scape or pry it out
Answer:	It's compressed, but really creamy - not rock solid/hard. You have to press firmly with your fingers to scoop it out, then it softens in your hands really quickly and onto your skin when you rub it in. I would never melt it, that would be very runny and messy. This brand of shea butter is very luxurious and I am extremely pleased!! I did a lot of research beforehand of different types, quality, texture, etc...and I'm so happy that I won't consider using another brand! It feels great on your skin, is the highest quality, and no trouble applying it. It is NOT a lotion or cream, it has a butter texture that is like hardened butter in your refrigerator (not the freezer!) and it melts into your skin right away. Hope all this helps!

Answer:	Idk, I do know it says 16oz on the label and I find that usually last me a month or so

Answer:	Yes but it seems to work best on dry skin. If you will use it on your lips you should rub it on your fingers first and soften the cream first.

Answer:	I don't know the grade but I read that the yellow shea butter has much more nutrients than the ivory. It has to do with the loss of nutrients during the refining process. I use this brand and think it's excellent.
Question:	Why does it say all natural and pure when it is refined which the label also says
Answer:	The refining process is how they remove impurities. The white shea butter is refined, so there are less impurities.. There are also no vitamins in it. The unrefined yellow shea butter is the one with nutrients. Use the white if you JUST want to moisturize or use in homemade makeup/lotion/skincare products, since it also has less scent. Use the yellow if you want the vitamin benefits. The smell is a bit like plastic, but it is fantastic stuff.

Answer:	Hi sorry so long in providing an answer. It actually doesn't say although it's the 3rd ingredient listed. I reckon it's between 5-7%. I have other creams I use that have urea for other parts of my body. For my elbows a cream with 10% urea. For my feet a cream with 30% urea. Check out Paula Begoun's review. That might help you.
