Answer:	The red *looks* dark brown, if you just spray it on something, but when you spray it on your hair, it blends in red. So, if I were you, I would use the dark brown. Unless your hair is black, it will just look like black roots.

Answer:	I mix 1/2 6N & 1/2 6D because i need the grey cover but it is too dark. Works pretty well. I don't think it's a good idea to mix brands from what I've read.

Answer:	No but it takes a little longer. I went from dark brown hair using 4 and 5. I began to use 6 and 7. I finally began using 8. This took 2 to 3 color cyles
Question:	What is the pH of the bar soap
Answer:	Very easy. Comes with 2 bottles, 2 gloves and a pouch of conditioner. Mix contents of bottles and apply to hair, wait 20-30 minutes, rinse out, then shampoo & condition. The longer you leave it on, the deeper the color. There is a maximum time you can leave it on, 45 minutes I think. Covers gray completely. If just coloring roots, mix 2 tablespoons of each liquid; cap bottles tightly and store for 4-5 weeks until next application is needed. The 2 tablespoons is just a little less than half of each liquid. I bought a cheap plastic dye brush at a beauty supply store to apply the color. My hair is almost down to my waist and there has been almost no color fading. Plus, the odor isn't obnoxious.
