Answer:	I use it on a daily basis as my face wash....its great for the skin, especially for people with acne issues. It removes my mascara pretty easily too. Just be aware that black soap is a bit drying, so make sure to moisturize afterwards....but then again, I have dry skin issues with my face so maybe it varies from person to person.

Answer:	Yes it does.
Question:	Compared to Dr. Bronners, is the mint concentration higher, lower, or the same, and amount needed for lathering? Thanks
Answer:	While we don’t have exact numbers on another brand’s ingredients, the smell of mint is about the same. Concentration is also about the same. However, their lather is different from ours. Not necessarily better or worse. It just depends on preference. Theirs has lots of large fluffy bubbles, ours is a denser, lather. Ours still has bubbles but they are smaller, denser bubbles with a creamier lather.
Question:	Why is this advertised as "Organic" when only a few of the ingredients are organic
Answer:	It is Oregon Tilth Certified Organic and that requires there to be 70% or more organic ingredients by weight. Several of the ingredients in this soap are not possible to be certified organic such as: water, citric acid, tocopherol and potassium hydroxide. The other ingredients that are conventional are used in very, very small percentages.
Question:	Compared to Dr. Bronners, how does this measure up
Answer:	Dr. Bronner products have palm oil in all of their products; Caroline liquid Castile soaps do not and can be used exactly like Dr. Bronners. Palm oil harvesting is devastating to the natural habitats of many endangered species, and regulation of the industry and sustainable harvesting has been a failure so far, and it's not necessary in liquid soaps! Please look it up, and try to avoid palm oil and its derivatives in products. By the way, Carolina bar soaps DO have palm oil products.

Answer:	I use about 1 part castile to 3 or 4 parts water. It isn't too fussy. Depends on how thick you want your foam.

Answer:	First off, I've been using Dr. Bronner's soap for 30 years and have loved it, but Quinn's performs just as well as a cleaner. My wife says it's gentler on her skin, has more 'slip' to it, and leaves less residue than Bronner's. And Quinn's smells FANTASTIC. No knock on Bronner's--it's a great soap--it's just that Quinn's is an amazing one.

Answer:	None. The label is hard to read (but very amusing!) but clearly states the ingredients: there are no sulfates, parabens, or perservatives.

Answer:	I would think so. It's a pretty hefty bottle with screw cap. I'd put it in a heavy duty platic bag too, double protection just in case.
Question:	This is a large bottle, does it come with a hand pump? Debating between this brand and another that comes with a pump
Answer:	No hand pump. BUT, it's great soap. I dilute it with water in small bottles that do contain a hand pump and use it as hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms. And, I dilute it with water in an old dishwashing liquid bottle and use it for shampoo. It goes a looooong way because it is concentrated. My favorite soap!
Question:	Is this soap supposed to be diluted? If so, how much water do you add per cup of soap
Answer:	The label has different dilution factors for each use. I have never used this concentrated soap in a one cup to water dilution...that would be too strong, too unnecessary for any job I can possibly think of, including dirty ovens. Please use the recommendations on the label or the website for Dr. Bronner.

Answer:	It doesn't claim to, I wouldn't expect that it would and if it did I wouldn't use it because I would never wash my body with insecticide.
Question:	Anyone tried this as a laundry detergent? How does it work
Answer:	You can use whatever liquid Castile soap scent that works for you, by adding a 1/3 to 1/2 cup to large load of wash. Can add 1/2 cup of 'Baking soda or Borax', but dilute it first, before adding to the washload. Add 1/2 cup of Vinegar to rinse cycle water. Peppermint, Tea-Tree, and Eucalyptus Castile soaps strong scents to use and have some anti-bacterial properties. Other scents are Almond, Lavender, Rose, Natural, & Baby-unscented. See Dr.Bronners website for many more uses and detailed suggested dosages and product line. GREAT product. Been using it for a shampoo, showering with and washing hands for years. Answer:	I've only used it as a hand wash (mostly) and face wash (just a few times), but never as a shampoo. It was definitely more moisturizing to the hands and face than Dr. Bronners.
