Answer:	The interior at the top is 3 3/4 inches diameter. It tapers down to about an inch less (2 3/4) at the bottom. It's true stainless steel, as it doesn't rust even though we keep it in the sink to hold used cutlery waiting to be loaded into the dishwasher.

Answer:	There are no perforations at the bottom. I do not know if it rusts as I am using the ones I ordered for a wine holder for a boat.

1. In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar and baking powder. Make well in center; pour in milk, stirring until jagged dough is formed. Add water and oil; stir until combined, adding more water if needed to bring dough together.

2. On lightly floured surface, knead dough for 5 to 7 minutes or until smooth and soft. Place in bowl; cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.

3. Toss together shredded pork, green onions, hoisin, soy sauce and vinegar.

4. Divide dough into 12 portions; roll or stretch each portion into 4-inch round. Place pork mixture into center of each round; gather dough to enclose filling, pinch on top.

Answer:	Did you put water in with the rice? Usually ratio of 1:1.5 1 cup rice, 1.5 cups water. True with almost any steamer.

Answer:	Yes, there is a warm button, but the cooking water is hot enough to continue to steam for five minutes or so. Keeping food warm has never been a problem. In the bottom part, I take the shrimp or whatever meat I prepared, and put it on a plate. I then put a protective cover on my table and put the upper part of the steamer on it, and serve the vegetables so as to not dirty another dish to wash.

Answer:	Maybe. Since the ratio of brown rice to water is about 1 cup rice: 2 cup water the volume of pot is maxed out prior to cooking. Water and brown rice is full to the top. If you cook more than 1 cup brown rice you should get a larger capacity cooker. The measuring cup supplied with the cooker is 6 ounces full, rather than standard US 8 ounce cup of measurement.

Answer:	The insert measures 6" across by 2 1/2 deep, Total dimensions of the cooker is 8 1/2 tall by 5 1/2 across. This is a mini rice cooker enough for 2 cups of rice for two. I like it because I do not have any left over rice.

Answer:	Sticky mess? You must rinse the dry rice in water, until the water is clear. This removes the starchy powder which causes your cooked rice problem. —Buy the correct type of rice for your needs. Be aware of the labels on the packaging. Question:	Are the floors of the baskets detachable or are the baskets (minus the lids) one-piece? In other words can the bottom drop out
Answer:	Clean thoroughly, and allow to dry thoroughly. Rinse and drain regularly. Many new appliances have a light application of non-toxic oil sprayed on internal components to protect the metal parts prior to being boxed at the factory. This coating can cause an off taste and should be cleaned off before the first use. When making ice with tap water(or spring water), minerals can build up on internal surfaces which can affect the taste. To correct these issues, clean the inside surfaces thoroughly using a thin mix of mild dish detergent and water, or a 1 part bleach to 10 parts water solution. Follow that with a good rinsing and allow to dry completely. As a final note, the use of distilled water for ice making is not harmful, and leaves fewer impurities behind to clean later. Some individuals though, may find the ice produced from distilled water to have a flat taste when compared to the natural mineral content of other water types.

Answer:	Buy regular rice. It’s cheaper per finished volume, and has a better texture! I make jasmine, brown and white basmati, brown and white, Japanese medium grain rice, and Japanese sweet sticky rice in this, and they all turn out great.

Answer:	About 16-18 minutes for 3 cups... but 3 cups is a lot for this little cooker, and it sometimes has a little liquid come out. Rice comes out pretty good. I now just limit this to 2 cups uncooked rice.

Answer:	The slow cooker function is high and runs around 165+ F. The "keep warm" function is low and is 145ish F degrees.

Answer:	Hi Judy - Yes this does have a beeper. When the rice is done it beeps on and off for about 5-6 seconds and automatically switches to keep warm. Once you're done you can press the power button and it toggles off so no need to unplug.

Answer:	You do not want the lid to be removable because that would require an extra (third) hand for operating the devise; and a clean and safe place to set down a removed lid. It is sufficient for the pot alone (and steamer tray) to be removable.
Question:	Can you cook noodles in it
Answer:	I have the 8-cup one and the brown rice setting cooks quinoa perfectly! You have to soak it first (minimum 6 hours) but it comes out fully cooked, light and fluffy! I just purchased the larger 20-cup cooker (the 8-cup doesn't hold enough veggies for me) and am sure the brown rice setting on the larger cooker will make quinoa perfectly as well.

Answer:	Hey Mr. Monster, Yes, there are water level indicator markings inside the unit showing minimum, 250ml & max 500ml levels. Though you do have to open the unit to see how much is left, 250ml steams one level easily, and when filled to 500ml it steams both levels just fine with water to spare.
