Answer:	I have never checked. I use it periodically, maybe 1-3 evenings then not until I feel I need to apply again. I am sure if I used it daily for a week, I would not have any spots/freckles anymore. One of the most important things is to use sun screen daily or you will get them back slowly. Also, a tidbit, I add baby diaper rash ointment containing 40% zinc oxide to my sun screen as the zinc oxide really blocks the damaging sun effects.

Answer:	Are you able to fit the opener over the jar's lid? Here are general instructions: This device has 3 parts. 2 things you grab as the user: the handle (the big thing sticking out) and the screw top dial thing (the wedge thing on the disk), and 1 thing on the opener that grabs onto the jar: the teeth. The wedge on the disk controls how the opener grabs the jar's lid, and the handle controls how you open the jar after the opener grabs said lid. Put the opener on top of the jar with the teeth down on the lid. Pinch the screw dial wedge top of the opener and turn it to the left. The teeth will open wider as you turn left. Turn the top left until the teeth fit around the cap of the jar. Then turn right until they dig into the jar's lid. Then use the handle to turn the opener which is now screwed into the jar's lid to rotate the lid off the jar by putting one hand on the jar to hold it still, putting your other hand on the opener handle, and then turning the opener handle lefty loosey.

Answer:	I'm sorry to say that no it would not work, needs to be a flat top and also I just checked and it doesn't go down to that size. There is a screw in the center, so there is no place for a pointed lid to go. But for anything else it is great. could open something as small as say a nickel in size.

Answer:	Nothing on the gripper about origin of manufacture. However, inside the handle is this "U.S. pat. no. 7.100.473." It is the best opener I have found.

Answer:	I agree with all of the previous comments, except I got it to work at 1 inch (on a plastic water bottle). It works within the 1 to 3-1/2 inch sizes (this diameter is also what Kuhn Rikon states), plastic or metal. I just tried it on a spaghetti sauce jar that was 3 inches in diameter and metal. The metal teeth on the jar clamps half way down the lid - the lid depth was only 1/2 inch, so the device clamped at about 1/4 of an inch down. Someone else asked if the teeth & clamp goes below the lid to the glass part of the container, but it does not. I amazingly opened that jar easily. The rubber part of the clamp holds the teeth in place when the top-twist device is turned clockwise (to the right) to fit tightly around the lid. Then, you hold the jar with one hand and push the handle counter-clockwise (left). Most of the time, I use this opener for plastic bottles. I have tendonitis (maybe developing arthritis) in my right thumb, so I can't open plastic soda or sport drink bottles, not less the metal spaghetti jar. This is a life saver. I bought two. One to have at home and one in my car if I am traveling and need to open a bottle when I am not at home. It is quite large though (look at the size measurements); even though I read that it was large and the measure is correct, it looks large and takes up some space in a kitchen drawer, but the magic of this device is that it WILL open BIG jars and it does it with little effort. You can get a smaller version of this opener directly from the Kuhn Rikon website, but it doesn't open the BIG jars. I would simple measure the jar you want to open and determine if it fits within the dimensions mentioned. As a last remark, I tried nearly every other method to open bottles (OXO easy jar opener - just spins and doesn't grip on either plastic or metal; rubber gloves or pads; and silicone pad openers). I bought & returned a number of them, until I found this product that does work. Sorry my post is so long, but wanted to give you my experience.

Answer:	I looked on my jar and glycolic acid is not listed. The ingredients on the jar list brown sugar and several oils...no acids of any type. Glycolic acid would have to be listed on the jar if it actually contained it.

Answer:	It does smooth my skin but I also use a face serum and moisturizer afterwards. I don’t have to exfoliate often however using a facial mask often yields better results. Be careful because you can overly exfoliate your face but this product does work to smooth.

Answer:	I searched for causes of strawberry legs which comes from a combination of shaving with a dull razor and dry skin. Inflammation of the hair follicle can be the results. I can’t say this will get rid of the problem, but certainly exfoliating the legs should help. This product works extremely well with exfoliating skin. I don’t shave my legs but I use this to exfoliate my complete body. Hopefully this will help.

Answer:	The pattern is on one side only. I don't find it to be the best jar opener I ever had, but it is better than nothing.
