It depends on your arches and if your feet pronate, supinate when walking. I have high arches and pronate. Bought Spenco high arches to replace inserts that come with shoe. Replaced shoe liner and Wow! So comfortable for 18 hours. Sturdy sole makes pronation near impossible. Likely Supination too, but I can't speak to that. Love this shoe! Ordered 4 colors total. I'm a 7 wide and the 7 gave me room in toebox, not too much, just enough. With high arches, the "sock" part is a bit snug, I can only wear thin socks. Which is fine, I live in warm climate.
