Answer:	No this is not a menthol foam. I wish it was!! It is a soft gentle foam, easy on my skin and smooth when shaving...

Answer:	The foam is cheaper. However, the gel is easier tobwork with if you are shaving and have a beard to shave around as you can see what you are shaving. Overall, I like both of the products and after years of using gel switched back to the foam as it was less expensive. I would recommend either for effectiveness and comfort.
