Example: if you are currently getting 30 min out of a 2.0Ah battery in a certain application, you could expect to see about 37.5 min with the 2.5Ah pack. Answer:	You left the brake on when taking the bar cover off. the band is pinched thinking it needs to lock/squeeze to not allow movement in the bar. easiest way to release the brake, line up like putting bar cover back on, but squeeze the top where brake is located, and have someone else release the brake.. or if needed, use plastic vise grips. for more assistance, search: "left chain brake on bar cover off" or something like that. goodluck!

Answer:	Yes I actually got the Greenworks 80v chainsaw for milling because it was the best battery electric one I could find(No fumes while cutting). I have cut around 50 board foot with it intermittently over the past two years. The trick is to take your time and not force the saw. Also multiple batteries help since the batteries will overheat and will need some cool down time before they will recharge(5-10min). On average I'd say it takes about a minute per foot for an 8" thick log(2AH battery will last about 9 munutes). So for milling as a casual hobby it is great which is exactly what I was looking for. Planning on posting a youtube video soon. Also haven't noticed any bettery fade in 3 years of use(2 years milling).

Auto Oiling System : This chain saw is equipped with an auto oiling system that keeps the saw chain and guide bar constantly lubricated. The oil level indicator 10 shows the level of the oil in the chain saw. If the oil level is less than a quarter full, remove the battery from the chain saw and refill with the correct type of oil. Always empty oil tank when finished cutting . NOTE: Use a high quality bar and chain oil for proper chain and bar lubrication. As a temporary substitute, a non-detergent SAE30 weight motor oil can be used. The use of a vegetable based bar and chain oil is recommended when pruning trees.Mineral oil is not recommended because it may harm trees. Never use waste oil or very thick oil. These may damage your chainsaw. Filling the Oil Reservoir Flip down locking lever and unscrew counterclockwise a quarter turn and then remove the oil cap . Fill the reservoir with the recommended bar and chain oil until the oil level has reached the top of the oil level indicator . Refit the oil cap and tighten clockwise a quarter turn. Flip up locking lever to its locked position.Periodically switch the chain saw off and check the oil level indicator to ensure the bar and chain are being properly oiled.

Answer:	Hey Joseph, There's a variety of reasons for the difference in air speed. From the size of the blower tube, to differences in the overall CFM of air moved, a lesser air speed doesn't necessarily mean less air moved. A blower can move more air at less air speed and vice versa. To best assist you, I'd recommend looking at the blower you're considering based on the amount of air moved, Ie: CFM at the blower pipe. Answer:	The 40 volt will last longer when paired with a 6 amp-hour or 7.5 amp-hour battery. 40v x 6 amp-hour = 240 watt-hours of energy. 40v x 7.5ah = 300 watt-hours of energy. 3ah x 60v = 180 watt-hours of energy. The 40 volt should last about 33% longer with the 6ah battery or 66% longer with the 7.5ah battery.
Question:	Can this saw support a longer bar
Answer:	Servicenet Dewalt has listed 2 items for purchase, can't find them on Amazon at present. N500117 (the 18inch optional bar for 40v/60v chainsaws). N500152 (the 18inch chain).

Answer:	The Stihl Woodsman case (part number 0000 900 4008) fits perfectly as long as you don't mind the lack of extra storage space for oil, spare chain, etc. I purchased one about two weeks ago at a nearby farm & auto store for under $45 and am very happy with it so far..
Question:	Which charger does this come with? Is it the all yellow Fast charger or the slower
Answer:	DCB115 which is a 4ah charger, which is odd. My other flexvolt tool came with the DCB118 which is a 6ah charger. With the larger battery the send a slower charger.

Question:	I have a greenworks 40v 2AH battery for another tool, can it be substituted in a pinch

Question:	How do I get my sew to cut. Chain came off i put it back on twice and it worked. Now is the third time it's came off ans it want cut
Answer:	The chain fell off for me several times before I figured out that, in addition to adjusting the tightness of the chain with the cover off, you had to really tighten down the cover nut afterwards. Apparently, when a chain is new, it “stretches” some, so when using at first, finger-tighten it as much as you can (I’m not the strongest person, so maybe not as tight as *you* can:-). This problem will disappear after a use or two. If you put the chain back on and the saw won’t cut at all, the blade is on backward. I’ve been meaning to ask a knowledgeable person; would doing that be a viable way of sharpening the chain? Just curious.
Question:	The manual says to charge the battery every two month. Instead, can I leave the battery on the charger all of the time when not in use
Answer:	The reason why the battery needs to be charged every few months is because it employs an internal BMS (Battery management system). Most modern quality lithium batteries do these days. It keeps the cells in balance and prevents over charging and over discharging. They also don't require "smart" chargers because all of the smarts are in the battery pack itself. The minor drawback of BMS systems is that they draw a tiny amount of parasitic power all the time, so they will eventually discharge your cells. Leaving the battery on the charger should not hurt it because the BMS circuit in the battery pack prevents overcharge.
