Answer:	I would not recommend it. I read a lot about what to use for what part of the body and tweezers or chemical hair removers are recommended for chin area. Electric shavers do not shave close enough for the chin area..so you get stubble look for normal hair. I have noticed that this shaver does a great job on legs, but not as close as a razor. Check out Tweezer Man--have a tool specifically for the chin area--works like threading.

Answer:	Yes, it will work as a shaver, but it is rather limited as a shaver. The shaving head is only about 5/8" wide (the area that shaves), so it is not as efficient as a regular electric shaver would be. In other words, shaving your entire face with it could take quite a bit longer than a shaver designed for that task. I use the shaving head to reach into hard to reach areas.

Answer:	I'm not positive but I don't think you can. I use a small brush (old toothbrush) and clean it after each use. I also put a drop of oil from my husbands electric razor on the blades every couple weeks. You can kind of tell when it needs oil because I can hear it slowing down (on mine anyway). Not sure if i'm suppose to use oil but so far no problems. Been using it for about 7 months. Actually like it so much I bought another one a couple months ago that I haven't opened yet. Tried three other brands and this is by far the best.

Answer:	When you clean the razor in the base, some hair goes into the solution cartridge. I found that some collects in the base and needs to be wiped out or rinsed out when you change the cartridge. I have to do all this for my husband!

Answer:	Just rinse it under the sink while it’s turned on. You can also add a drop or two of hand soap before rinsing it under the sink. If you do pre-rinse the cutting head make sure you then use the cleaning station, as rinsing the cutting head in the sink removes all lubricant from the razor. The Braun cleaning solution is just alcohol and lemon oil, the lemon oil acts as a lubricant.

Answer:	OK everybody, get our your rulers with inches on one side and metric on the other side. Looks like 7mm is just a hair over 1/4 ", so 9/32 is probably correct. 12mm looks a hair under 1/2", so I think 15/32. The typo is the 1 is missing from 15 in 15/32.

Answer:	The question is referring to trimming the head hair (medium/heavy duty), as opposed to just facial hair (light/medium duty). Yes, this can be used to trim the hair on your head. I have one and I use it for that. In fact, that's the safest place to use it because if you're not careful, it'll draw blood on your neck/face should you let the cutting tines press against your flesh at too high an angle.

Answer:	Use the guards! I’m assuming you’re asking about a trim rather than a shave down. Trim with the guards on to shorten the hair and use a razor to shave it to a clean finish. People who don’t use the guards are doing it all wrong! Who the heck uses clippers straight up on skin like that. If you did, you deserved to get nicked.

To clean the Philips Norelco Shaver 6900 (S6810/82) we recommend switching the product on, rinse the shaving unit under a warm tap, switch off the product, pull the shaving head holder off the bottom part of the shaving unit, rinse the hair chamber and the shaving head holder under the tap, then carefully shake off excess water and let the shaving head holder air-dry completely.

Answer:	Well...the biggest difference to me is the old ones had the flip open blades. My old one would constantly open while shaving, dumping cut whiskers down my shirt. The other differences the interchangeable heads. No pop out trimmer. Now they added a trimmer/beard shaver that is adjustable for length. A nice addition to the shaving system if you sport a beard as I do from time to time. Hope this helps.

Answer:	If you have a child 4 or younger with a well-developed beard or mustache, this is just the product for you! Parental supervision is recommended as there are still ways in which one could be cut when using some of the attachments, but I would think it's still safer than teaching that 4 year old Grizzly Adams how to use a straight razor.
