Once it's on for a little while I don't notice it unless I pull my beard up and smell it. My beard is around 8 plus inches long and it works really well for me. Because of the consistency and how easily it melts in your hands you don't need to us a lot. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Well, lots of people have had good experiences. I've had acne problems my whole life and using any beard oil clogs my pores. My acne gets noticeably worse when I use beard oil--including getting acne under my beard. Here's the thing, though. It seems as though my skin adjusts to the use of the oil and I break out less. Answer:	Yes in a way. It does help with keeping hairs together. Really depends on your hair type. I have a full beard and it helps thicken it. I use about the size of a finger nail and it works good.

Answer:	I'm a woman and I use the product for many different things. It smells amazing and makes an excellent cuticle balm, lip balm, pomeade for calluses, etc. However a review site has been giving it away for a while for free in exchange for reviews so I can assure you sons women did grab it just because it was free and likely never used it. I was first attracted to it because it was free and planned on giving it to one of my brothers until I opened it and smelled it. It's very useful. So much so that I now own four!

Question:	What's the difference between your heavy duty beard balm and your magic beard balm
Answer:	The Heavy Duty Balm is designed to keep unruly beard hair tamed and in place. It is certainly a harder product than the Magic Beard Balm as it contains more beeswax. The additional beeswax does call for a bit more work than the Magic Beard Balm; it isn't just scoop and go, but in order to give you that extra bit of control, it is a necessary evil. Scrape a bit out of the tin and put it in the palm of your hand. Rub it between your hands until it melts and is easy to work with--the heat of your hands makes this possible, but it takes a few seconds. Work it into your beard, all the way to the skin, and smooth your beard into place or groom as desired.
Question:	How strong is the scent of this product? Will it affect the scent of any beard oils and butters I also apply
Answer:	The orginal version of the Mountaineer beard balm does not have much of a scent. The product has slight bee's wax smell.

Answer:	Maybe try under hot water. It’s supposed to be hard though. You work it into your hands until it liquifies

Question:	My tin has hard little wax beads in it that don't really want to soften and mix in. Is this normal
Answer:	I also got a tin with those. I really had to rub them hard between two fingers or between my hands until they heated up to get them to blend into the balm.

Answer:	I have used this product for years, I also have white and gray in my beard and have never seen any yellowing. Great stuff!
