Answer:	This is an air filled basin. We never tried to carry it with a lot of water in it, but do not think it was designed for that purpose. This is a soft plastic form for comfort of the user. Therefore, we would highly recommend that you purchase a 2.5 gallon pail for draining used water. Water weighs 10 lbs per gallon, usually my wife uses just under 3 gallon as she has long thick hair. There is a small amount of water that remains, even after draining, but that amount should not stress the plastic material. We carry and dump that small amount of remaining water, then let the basin air dry. Hope this helps you with your question! :)

Answer:	No squeeze the valve stem and it will take in air. If it doesn't have an opening when you squeeze it, it is defective and I would send it back

Answer:	There is a one-way valve built into the stem. First pull the stem out of it's recess. Then you need to undo the flap at the top, squeeze the base of the stem from the sides to release the valve while you are blowing into it to inflate the basin. You can then reseat the flap and push the stem back into the recess to get it out of the way.

It has 2 sides, both have bristles. 1 side is soft bristles, the other side the bristles are more coarse and stronger. So for exfoliating and remo ing dead skin and cells, I'd see it working great. Personally, I love the way it feels, and it lathers soap really well. Its a perfect length for reaching all unreachable le parts. Hope this helps.
