Question:	Do you need one of light things to activate this gel
Answer:	No. You need plastic trays though. The light is what the dentist uses to make this work for in-office treatment, but with this at-home product you will have to use it for 10-14 days. Night white you wear over night, I believe 10-14 days. There's also day white you use for only 15-30 min a day, also for 10-14 days. I would not recommend night white unless you have custom made trays. This product won't work, because you wont have the close contact that you get with custom trays that your dentist makes. It will basically get washed out and irritate your gums.
Question:	Can I use my retainer trays for whitening with this product? Can the gel get removed and will I still be able to use my trays for retaining as usual
Answer:	retainer trays are meant for "retaining" for ortho, no more. There is no room for the whitener material to work on the front side of the teeth, therefore to get the most of the whitener, PROPER whitening trays should be made. where i worked for 8 years, they only costed 75 dollars. This will save you a lot of time and get better results.
Question:	I have been using nite white 22% for 2 weeks and it worked fine. how often should i do this process? i'm just concerned about damaging the enamel
Answer:	I have been using this about every 3 months for 9 years with no problem. My dentist said every couple of months or so is OK. I would wait at least a month between treatments, which should only be 4-5 days in a row.
Question:	Is there a difference between the Day and Nite White (other than
Answer:	I had the same question myself and had difficulty finding the answer as, even on their website, they try to hide the details. BUT FINALLY I FOUND THE ANSWER: YES THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE!!! If you zoom in on the packages, you'll see that the Day White produces are HYDROGEN peroxide ("HP") gels, whereas the Night White products are CARBAMIDE peroxide ("CP") gels. 3% CP is approximately equal to 1% HP. A quick review of the two will show you that while the overall effect is the same (assuming you are comparing a HP solution to a CP gel 3 times higher-percent (ie, 15% HP vs 45% CP))... the time taken to achieve that result is drastically different. HP solutions work within 5 mins and are basically a dead solution by about 30 mins, whereas the CP solutions take 15-20 mins to start working, and continue to work over the next 4-6+ hours. Being that the CP solution is slower in action, it is theoretically also easier to control for sensitivity and a safer solution for home use. Personally, I would prefer to exercise a bit more care and just get it over within 20-30 mins while I'm awake. Question:	I purchased the light and am going to purchace the gel. Where do i find the tray that fits the Aura light

Question:	How loud is the WP-660? I own the WP-65W and it sounds like something you might hear at a construction site
Answer:	WP-100 is the one with a very strong motor, will last for years, unless you forget and leave it running on an empty tank as i did. So what if it is noisy; it works and will last. By the way, using it at more than 2-3 may cause damage to your gum line. Leaky tank valve, even the new WP-100s have a defective tank valve (it doesn't fall down when the tank is removed, therefore the tank dribbles when removed for refill. This problem remains even with new valve inserts (which i obtained from Waterpik's wonderful service). The fix, although slightly annoying, is to take the handle of your toothbrush and gently press down on the valve during the lift off process. You can then discontinue the toothbrush, and refill and reseat the tank, without dribbles occuring. Just grin and bear it. Also, you will need to purchase replacement angled wands because the tip will become junky and can't be cleaned.
Question:	Can I use this in China? The household voltage 220V in China

Answer:	You have to hold them in really hot water for five seconds and put the mold in your mouth so they mold around your teeth. I did this about 10 times to get them fit perfectly. Then they are good to go!

Answer:	I mean yes technically. Bleach refers to any chemical that lightens color or removes stain. If you are asking if this is industrial hypochlorite (Chlorox) than no. This uses an organic peroxide, a natural bleaching agent (dont get on clothes!)

Answer:	No! In the beginning, you need to twist a few more times. This is a very good product.

Answer:	I am a retired dentist. I no longer "bleach" teeth, so this answer is not based on potential effects on my income. The ingredients used are used in dentistry and will brighten your teeth. 35% carbamide peroxide can also burn soft tissues (gums, lips, cheeks tongue) and can even burn a hole through clothing. If overused, it will damage the enamel of your teeth irreparably. I wouldn't feel comfortable turning just anyone loose to use this product in an unsupervised manner. Certainly some individuals will use it safely and effectively, but too many will be tempted to overuse. Your enamel will initially lighten because, like everything else, if you look at the tooth surface under an electron microscope, it is porous. The stains are trapped there. The bleach lightens and even removes that staining material. It opens up the pores and if you were to eat or drink too soon, those pores would just suck up stain like a sponge. Remember: There is only so much of an effect that's even possible. You can't keep chasing a shade you will NEVER reach. The damage to the enamel actually turns the enamel clear and the darker dentin under the enamel shines through...you start going the wrong way. Use only intermittently after an initial daily period which will yield the greatest and fastest result. Anyone who applies this stuff to their teeth twice daily for extended periods of time is asking for trouble to put it mildly. Consult your dentist for advice before proceeding.
