Answer:	Juliet, this mouth wash is not pleasant tasting and its strong. I even dilute it down to use it. I would not even try to give it to children. After the first taste they wouldn't want it again.

Answer:	I believe so. I bought it the first time to counteract sensitivity and potential enamel damage from strong bleaching gel. It seems to prevent all sensitivity, enhances the whitening (or at least helps maintain), and provides very fresh breath. I use it daily now, when originally it was just for after bleaching.

Answer:	I'm not sure if it actually dissolves plaque, but it contains an antiseptic that helps heal sores in your mouth. My dentist recommended it after I had a deep cleaning a few years ago (uhg). My gums healed pretty quickly using this mouthwash. Now I rinse with a half a capful after I brush my teeth morning and night. I'm sure it's improved the condition of my gums in recent months. The manufacturer (OraTec) does have a powdered product that dissolves plaque.
