Answer:	I don't own this, but I've checked out the reviews on youtube, and I'm almost 100% sure it's the very same palette. So to answer your question according to the women who DO own it.. all the contour pans are matte. The middle two light powders are matte and the two end shades contain shimmer and can be used as a highlighter, making this very versatile. Any vendors correct me if this information isn't correct, but I truly believe I'm right. You can check it out on youtube.

Answer:	It's been awhile since I opened the blush and I've opened a different brand since then that was sealed, but I'm 95% sure the blush was sealed, yes. I say that because I intend to order ELF blush again and I would not order it if the first had not been sealed. I hoped that makes sense. I wanted to give a good answer. Before

After applying your foundation and concealer, set the face lightly with a translucent powder so you create a smooth surface for the contour to glide on.

Application

You can either apply the product directly from the packaging for a more stronger and evident look, or if you’re going for a subtle, softer and natural look.

After

Apply the product on a blending brush and work your way gently on the face.

CONTOURING BASED ON YOUR FACE SHAPE

Forehead:

If you want to create a smaller looking forehead, apply it around the hairline and avoid the center of the forehead. For a taller looking forehead apply it only on the sides avoiding the top part of the forehead. If your forehead is small and you’re trying to achieve an illusion of a bigger one, avoid the contour in this area. For blending the contour use a contour brush or fingers and mimic circle-like motions, blending the product seamlessly into the hairline.



Cheekbones:

They are supposed to be the widest part of the face, so for this reason you want to enhance their natural shape. Start by sucking your lips so they create a vacuum, even though you might consider this funny – trust us this is one of the most efficient techniques, this way you can clearly see the cheekbone line. Starting from the middle of the year all the way until the beginning of the lip follow your natural cheekbone line. When your blending the contour with your brush, make sure you only bring the product up with circular motions. Even though the product has to be nicely blended, there should be an almost invisible line dividing the cheekbone and the rest of the face.



Jawline:

Draw a line underneath your jawline so you can create more depth and hide any imperfections. When blending this part make sure you only pull the product downwards and move the brush in circular motions.



Nose:

This is something that a lot of people leave behind because of the fear of doing it wrong, when in reality it is quite simple. Look at your nose and try seeing the two lines laying vertically along the sides. Draw with your Contour over them leaving the tip of the nose untouched. You may want to use fingers to blend the nose contour for more precision, take your ring finger and gently pull the product sideways until it blends with your foundation. Keep in mind that the middle of the nose should have no Contour because it is reserved for the highlight and that’s going to create the bridge of the nose.

Answer:	Yes, the cream and powder contour kits we offer are designed to work with all skin tones as the colors in the palettes can be mixed and matched. When contouring and highlighting darker skin, you want to choose a contour shade that is 2-3 shades darker than your natural skin tone and a highlight shade that is 2-3 shades lighter than your natural skin tone. You can even go lighter if you choose, that just depends on personal preference. Your highlight shade should act as a concealer to brighten up the areas you want to highlight. You can mix and match any colors in the palette for custom skin tone shades :)

Answer:	The Aesthetica Cream Contour Kit is like a foundation but is thick enough to be used as a concealer as well. This kit was formulated to be used in small amounts so it is not recommended that you wear this as a full coverage foundation but rather, over your regular liquid or cream foundation. It is also recommended that you start with a blank canvas, prior to contouring. Creating a blank canvas means you would be applying a layer of your everyday foundation first, and conceal any blemishes/dark spots you may have. Once you have created a blank canvas, you would proceed to contouring and highlighting. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions, along with easy to follow diagrams that show you precisely how to do this. You can also watch the various tutorials on the Aesthetica website.
