Answer:	I gifted my BFF a three month subscription by placing order thru regular Allure to see if she liked it. Then, for the remainder of her year, I changed my to #2 a month and it gives us a reason to get together, hang out and open boxes.

Answer:	It ships for free for everyone. Amazon Prime has nothing to with it, Conde Nast is the seller and the shipper. Hope this helps.
Question:	How does this compare to Birchbox or Ipsy
Answer:	-Birchbox cost $10 per month Birchbox’s gift to you is their signature box, which has a different designed top and a color coordinated bottom each month, which could be used for gift giving or storage, but it’s not very large, I ended up with a stack of 5x7 boxes, which I donated. I liked that you were asked questions tailored to determine your favorite (or most flattering) colors, and any skin or hair issues. The selection of samples is somewhat comparable to those you can buy at Sephora when you are waiting in line. What turned me off was when I decided to cancel my subscription to Birchbox, I went through a gauntlet of questions on their website and was then directed to check my email for the link to cancel (sent from Birchbox), which never arrived. I stopped payment via my bank. -Ipsy cost $10 per month ...I liked Ipsy more than Bb. They sent the samples in a makeup bag, which was different each month, and a makeup brush. The samples were relatively the same as Bb, and often one or two samples duplicated each other. I joined Ipsy after being a Bb member off and on for several months. I quit Ipsy only because I had several samples of the same products; but I really did like the makeup brush and makeup bags. **Both Birchbox and Ipsy include a card with a description of the products and the discount price you’ll receive on their website. -Allure cost $15 per month, your first months’ box is $10. My first month was June and I was really impressed! I received a sea through day-glow plastic envelope/makeup bag. The items were packaged very thoughtfully, and no small sample sizes. Eye cream, Floss lip gloss, Moroccanoil hair treatment...six items total. The July box was Huda Beauty, really nice offering. Included in each monthly envelope is a small booklet with a generous description of the product, and a promo code. August’s offering was the last one to include the envelope/bag. September’s box, slightly bigger than Bb’s box, with “allure beauty” stamped on top. I was disappointed, but the nice thing about the contents were that they were all Allure Award winning products. Included was full size NARS lip crayon, a favorite of mine. The downside is that the LaRoche-Posey eczema cream was truly sample sized, (perhaps because of the cost, their products are expensive, but high quality) the rest were full and deluxe sample sized. Allure includes a small booklet with each order with product description/review by an Allure employee why they love it, how to use, etc. Also included are ads for jewelry to swim ware, discounted pricing or a dollar amount off from Allure. Question:	What is the benefit of getting this box through Amazon instead of directly through Allure
Answer:	Here’s the benefit. First when I switched cards I was charged on both cards but got one box. 2nd I called to make sure they were charging my correct card and yet for months they still billed my wrong card. 3rd and this is the one that really pisses me off. They totally screwed the box Dec 2019 box. My card was stolen and I called in to fix it (bc it only sometimes works if you call) and had them get my subscriptions fixed with the new card. I was specifically asked if I Just wanted to start with the Dec box (it was the last week of Nov) and I said no go ahead and send Nov as well and I was told I’d be charged at the same time and get both boxes at the same time. I realized I never got the Dec box and called to see what was up. They’d screwed up and no more Dec boxes. I’m so angry bc I did everything right to get the year end special box and they screwed up and I don’t get it. It was the only box I was really looking forward to.

Answer:	Great question! Unfortunately the 3 mysteries build off each other so it’d be really hard to work out of order like that. There’s are many other ways to break it up though. We’ve heard from many users who played with many others on a group and had a good experience. Hope this helps!

Answer:	You do not know until the package arrives. It is totally random. I know my colors, too, and pass the misfits on to sisters and friends.

That's why we are unable to reveal any kind of information about future boxes. You won't know what you'll get until it gets delivered to you. It's a surprise box, But we are now on the process of adding the option for customization and our developers are working hard for this update.
Question:	Are the products cruelty free
Answer:	There has never been any indication that the products are cruelty free. I've been subscribed for almost a year, and hung in there just to see if the company would grow, and the products get a bit better, but they seem to be getting worse. I'm still subscribed, hoping it'll improve again. The last two shipments I've received have been pretty low quality, and arrived in an ugly drawstring pouch made out of a thin, light brown, burlap type material, instead of the promised pretty makeup bag. I've never received a product that had much of any info. listed on the packaging.

Answer:	I went back and looked at a couple boxes and didn't see specific pronouns; nor does their appear to be stereotyping in the boxes. The last kit provided identical objects to fill out and a combined project that was basically neutral "couple". I've made candy, painted, ornaments with notes...none seemed "hers" and/or "his".
Question:	Are the products also gluten free for those who have allergies

Answer:	No, they do not contain any harsh chemicals as my skin would have responded; all products I have received have been high quality.

The primary ingredient we use in our products is organic safflower oil, grown and cold pressed here in Montana and delivered directly to us by these awesome farmers. Safflower requires little water and grows in harsh conditions, yet nutrient dense. We source local whenever possible and all of our products are made in the USA in our studio.

Answer:	We usually add different stones for each themed box. If there is a stone we have used previously that you are interested in adding to your box and we have it in stock, we would be happy to make that substitution for you upon request. Thank you.
Question:	Is foundation and primer aswell as foundation brush available? I really need those 3 items
