Etching bare concrete before applying your top coat is vital to a long lasting paint job. Question:	Can this be applied to inside basement wall to keep a wall from leaking
Answer:	Yes, but more information about your basement, type of concrete, and the leak would be helpful. RadonSeal Deep-Penetrating Concrete Sealer seals the matrix of concrete against wicking water, water vapor, and capillary water seepage. Construction, materials, and the type of leak varies. Sealing subterranean concrete is always a good idea, but it does not always limit the need to repair cracks, seams, mortar joints, corners, and floor-to-wall joints. Answer:	I caulked that spot with a waterproof caulk first. I caulked all small crackers and tine spots from the forms. I had big cracks professionally fixed before I used sealer.my main fix as was Radon and it worked.

Answer:	I moved into a new home with concrete walls in basement. I was using a de-humidifier and was getting an awful amount of water. So rather then have my humidifier run almost consistently I thought I would seal the walls. Well I spend two days of long hours using two coats. After it had all dried , and I waited a week, still my machine keeps running. So too make this answer short I must give the product one star and tell you not to waste your money. The first 5 days I had collected 21 gallons of water.

Answer:	Probably not, I used it on outside of wall along with French drain to keep water out.

Answer:	I never used any material like this but did a ton of research bf hand. I would definately use this product again. I did my foundation with this stuff. I would say tho the best time to use this stuff is when it is warm out and be sure to scrape and power wash whatever surface bf applying.

Answer:	We used a flex seal spray to cover the seams and in fact the entire membrane with flex seal. The product comes in a variety of colors including almond which matches the siding. We sprayed the membrane, the joint and the adjoining block with the flex seal providing a uniform color. I found it best to have my wife pick the color.

Answer:	It's noy recommended for use in pools but we have had customers do it. It does end up with somewhat of a rubbery feel. If you do use it, keep in mind everything above the waterline must be top coated because it is UV sensitive.

Answer:	Application over a painter surface will not likely penetrate as intended. It's a great product for use on unpainted and/or unsealed concrete, old and new. If painted or sealed, I recommend removing the top 1/8 to 3/16 inch of the surface using a grinder (very messy and dusty), Apply the product in a minimum of three applications, let dry completely, then finish with your surface covering of choice.
Question:	I want to seal hardi plank siding. adheres to hardi plank installed vertically?...cement type materials
Answer:	56 x 7 = 392 sq. ft. If you are using on a poured concrete, ONE (1) 2.5-gallon container will cover 500 sq. ft. If you are using on a Concrete Blocks, ONE (1) 2.5-gallon quantity will cover roughly 250 sq. ft.
Question:	How long does new concrete need to cure before applying liquid rubber? We are sealing our new concrete pond with this product = will not have fish in
Answer:	Tested on living room floor, using 7 coats, each dried at one coat per week, this product stops 3 feet of water ( or 1.3 psi ) provided the coverage is uniform. Above that, I do not know.

Answer:	New concrete needs to cure as per the installation instructions. Applying any of the Liquid Rubber products or most waterproofing products prior to a full cure may compromise the curing process of the concrete.

Question:	Is this an epdm rubber base product and not an elastomeric
Answer:	I coated the sides and the floor of a 1200 gallon cistern and I have about half of the pail left. I really don't know how much the whole pail covers. The Damtite web site has more information that was very helpful for me.
Question:	will this product bond to bare metal with out primer
Answer:	I purchased the 02551 Damtite waterproofer heavy duty in the 50 lb pail. The label says 5 year guarantee and safe for cisterns which is what I needed.
Question:	What type paint roller is recommended
Answer:	Yes, put a few coats on. Let each coat dry well (24)hrs . You can spray on inside of pond. I used a undercoating product used for undercoating cars for the outside of pond. I put 3 coats on. I let each coat dry for 2 days before applying the next coat. All worked great my pond is like new and no leaks and all of my goldfish are fat and happy! Good luck! Take your time and cover every spot even sides. Make sure the pond is very clean before u start applications. I used a ruff kitchen pot scrubber to scrub clean.
Question:	Is this product mildew and mold resistant
Answer:	Our products adhere well to cement type materials but we haven't tested them on Hardie Plank Siding. I suggest applying a test area with one quart and you will know within a week whether it works properly.
