Answer:	As long as you apply properly, it shouldn't flake. It has real nylon bristles. Not those weird silicon ones that are so popular and so ineffective. Make sure never to pump your wand. Swirl around to get product. Then with a facial tissue, gently wipe excess. Apply. Wait at least a minute or so to let dry before second coat or use a short blast of hair dryer on gentle.

Answer:	I have no idea if it would work with lash extensions. Sorry. This product has been discontinued and is very hard to find.

Answer:	I would consider it humid proof as long as you don't rub your since it will smear. The do make a water proof version as well. This mascara has the best brush, small and narrow so you can reach every lash. Some other mascaras are like putting bottle brushes up to your eyes!

Answer:	Mine wasn't dried up or clotted when I bought it. Maybe you got a bad tube. If you add a few eye drops and swirl the brush around this should help with the dryness! Avoid eye drops that are for redness though. Hope this helps!

1) Always replace your mascara every 3 months. This is the most hygienic replenishment time for all eye makeup products. Plus, it ensures your mascara never gets too dry and clumpy.

2) Always let mascara set (but not dry!) between applications. Two coats of mascara should always be applied, but never more than that. Wait 10 seconds for formula to set before applying second coat so lashes won't clump.

3) Never apply before liner. Your fresh coats of mascara will smudge and clump together if you apply liner after mascara. Applying mascara before liner also prevents you from being able to get as close to the lash line as possible. Remember - liner first, then two coats of mascara!

Question:	will these work on my product
Answer:	I have no problem removing this mascara. I don't even have to use make-up remover...I simply wash my face with Neutrogena facial soap and there is enough moisturizer in the soap to soften and remove the mascara. That is one of the many reasons that I love this awesome waterproof mascara so much.
Question:	Is this waterproof version extremely difficult to remove? I know some wp formulas are a nightmare...Thanks
Answer:	To my disappointment, they stopped making the black/brown years ago. I had used it for many years because it is a wonderful mascara for all the reasons described in the favorable reviews. I do not like black with my coloring: reddish blonde, blue eyes, light complexion. Black looks too harsh on me so I switched to another brand that has black/brown. I would use Lash Discovery again If they ever go back to making it in black/brown which has a warmer tone than their black, and still accents my eyelashes just as well. The brush is so easy to use, you can build layers with out clumps if you want more volume. The lashes look real with this mascara. My opthomoligist recommended it to me because I was have allergy problems with most mascaras.
Question:	Can you get this in brown instead of very black
Answer:	I believe you could swim without the mascara smearing. I have extremely dry eyes, and have to apply artificial tears several times a day. The mascara does NOT run or smudge when I wear it, even for a full day. It is the only mascara that I can use that does not irritate my eyes.
Question:	How waterproof is this mascara? Would I be able to swim while wearing it
Answer:	This mascara lasts very long - it's actually hard to fully get off even with makeup remover which is not a good thing. So it may hold curled lashes well, but I can't personally attest to that

Answer:	I do not know if there is oil in this product. It is creamy, but hardens on your lashes. Works well I think. I use the dark purple which is a difficult color to find, but I like it because it provides a brightness to dark brown eyes rather than the harshness of pure black.

Answer:	I recently purchased this because lately it seems as if all the hyped up mascaras I've tried are all thick and clumpy. I thought I'd give this a try - and It's a hit with me. It does not run at all. Smooth application, defines lashes and lasts. I'm not sure why they call it 'washable' mascara. Yes, I'm able to take it off the same as any other mascara, with no more or less difficulty than any other mascara I've used. Anyway...I think it's great and the price on Amazon is far less than what I paid at my local Walgreen's. (BTW...sometimes I wonder how long the mascara I've purchased over the years has been sitting on the shelf. All of these products should be marked with the date it was manufactured.
