Question:	Can this be used with masks
Answer:	Not if you wear your mask over your whole face. If you only wear a mask over your nose and mouth and only wear mascara on your eyes you should be ok unless your mask gets accidentally pushed up your face and over your eyes while your mascara is still wet then it might smudge a little bit and you could even get it in your eyes which totally stings. What’s worse is if you then pull your mask back down over your mouth, it could smudge down your whole face and you could then get it in your mouth and on your teeth. You can cover up most of it with the mask but all of the smudges on your upper nose, eyes and forehead will be visible. When it happens to me I just wear sunglasses which helps. So, yes it can, you just have to be careful.

Answer:	I wish it came in brown too. Sometimes black can appear to harsh and too contrasting from the color of my skin. I like the effect of dark full lashes but without it overpowering the overall makeup look!

Answer:	Take a hot shower and then wash your face! It's actually really cool, you can GENTLY pull the "fake" lashes off and it looks like you've taken off for real false lashes. Again, HOT water, 10 minutes to let it soften the fiber, and then GENTLY rub your eyes with soap and let them come off. It's great, and lashes are ready the next day.

Answer:	Yes it is very easy with the curved brush. Much better then a straight brush

Answer:	This may be an issue with washable version vs waterproof because the washable I wear is a dream to put on in a few strokes and comes off with a dab of tear free baby shampoo or Mary Kay oil free makeup remover (that seems rather oily?) Its never been ever clumpy and the brush comes out of the tube crystal clean except for a dab on the tip that you wipe on the rim, instead of a glob of mascara to wipe and swipe off. Unlike like Exhibitionist mascara, although a great mascara, once you wipe the gobs of it off of the brush before you apply it. Lash Sensation takes under 5 swipes to get full, soft, long, and curled lashes. Curls that lasts all day without an eyelash curler because the wand acts like a perfectly fitted cup that lifts and separate your lashes, in that “every defined lash” way, not the “spider look” way. The fullness is a kind of false lash look too, but soft lashes, not the fake stiff lashes way. I have sparse short lashes due to my thyroid disease, but every time, without fail that I wear this mascara, (I like to wear different colored mascaras on different days), I get the same comments...”oh wow mom, your eyes look really good today”. I love it that it don’t have to keep checking a mirror too, to see if I have splotches of mascara that looks like black hands reaching up from my eyes, haha. My prominent brow bone gets a lot of action from mascaras that smudge, usually the waterproof ones that remove with oils. The washable version of this doesn’t flake or smudge. I wish they made a brown in it though for blondes like me, so I can fool people into thinking these are my lashes! Answer:	people can be so rude and insensitive toward gluten sensitivities. yes this mascara is gluten-free, i have celiac and this has been my go-to mascara for years.

Answer:	I have never judged it with this criteria since my lashes are naturally curled. I do recommend it. It is clear and designed to be worn over regular mascara. It acts in a similar way as waterproof mascara, but, according to a Clarins rep, is more gentle on the lashes than waterproof. I use it regularly to prevent mascara from smudging, or streaking from tears or watery eyes. If your base mascara keeps your lashes curled, it is likely that they will stay curled after applying the double fix mascara.

Answer:	Yes it's really black but I stopped getting this one because it was very clumpy and smeared easy. After many different kinds I finally got the loreal telescopic shocking extensions the blackest one and it's perfect it stays on no smearing and never clumps no matter how much I put on

Answer:	I love and use l'Oreal Voluminous mascara exclusively, but I have found that on me the Carbon Black does smudge. Using the primer helps, but I avoid this color. I haven't experienced smudging with any other color and right now am using brownish black. It's a nice daytime color. (the Carbon Black is a great color for dramatic nighttime use, and it may not smudge on you! Worth a try!).

Answer:	I have bought this many times . It is dark and not to much difference then the black one. I personally think the color is great.

Answer:	The difference is the type of pigment that is used. Traditional mascaras use different oxidation states of iron oxides (black, red, and yellow with the red and yellow being only used in the brown shade). In carbon black the black iron oxide pigment is replaced with a carbon compound that has a much deeper more obsidian appearance. Black iron oxides are naturally occurring minerals and vary on the shade their "blackness" where the carbon black is much more consistently deep black.
