Question:	I have a short Bob..will this work to add body and height
Answer:	I have short layered hair that I am growing out into a short bob. While I cannot guarantee your results, it does add body and height without the over curling of a regular curling iron. I got the 1 1/4 inch size so that it would be larger to add body without curl. Obviously some well-placed mousse or styling gell (directly on the roots) helps as does drying hair with your head upside down and then using this styling wand to, ironically, calm it down into the shape you want after. Question:	can you touch the bristles without getting burned
Answer:	the bristles are not hot, the metal strips between the bristles is what gets hot. you can wrap your hand around the bristles and not get burned, but be careful not to push your finger tips through the bristles and touch the metal strip, it will burn.

Answer:	Wouldn't recommend it for very short hair go with the smaller barrel size for short hair. I have layered shoulder length hair and very fine and it's great. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The iron doesn’t (in my opinion) get hot enough to do anything and I have super fine hair. I returned it.

Question:	Is the organ oil that is included with the flat iron 100% organ oil or filler
Answer:	The outside of the straightener does not heat up. Only the heating plates on the inside heat. This item does also have the swivel cord feature and is very easy to hold and use.
Question:	Does it let you know when the desired temperature is reached
Answer:	Mine never worked. But for reference, it isn't a good idea to use a hot iron on wet hair. It can cause damage to your hair.
Question:	Is this dual voltage? We have 220v in Philippines
Answer:	Just hold down the "down" temp button until the the padlock shows next to the temperature. To unlock, do the same thing until the padlock disappears (it beeps too). If I don't lock the buttons it IS really easy to mess with the temperature settings. Hope this helps. I love this straightener.
Question:	Is this flat iron ceramic
Answer:	The answer to this question is in terms of what you're looking for from your hair straightener. Chi is more expensive model, and is used by many salon professionals. The heat settings are more fine tuned and the plates are thicker and ionized, so your hair gets straighter faster. For someone who straightens their hair every single day..this is a better options because it'll last longer. Remington is a good alternative at a cheaper price for someone who likes to straighten their hair but doesn't do it all the time. Week/monthy maybe. It does heat up quickly and straightens your hair pretty well w/out burning the ends. It takes longer in time than the CHI straightener does. I personally like the Remington more, only because I don't use it all the time. I probably use mine on a weekly or monthly basis...or just for special occasions. It gets the job done w/out burning/damaging my hair. I have long (to my waist) thick wavy/curly black hair, and I get my hair straight in about 25-35 min.My roommate has the CHI. She has shorter hair (about shoulder length) that's course but straight. She uses the Chi straightener on a daily basis to keep the frizz down and to maintain the shiny look in her hair. She gets her hair straight in about 5-15 min. I hope this helps. =
