Proper care will prolong the life of your natural brush.
Question:	Is this brush all boar bristle and no nylon
Answer:	It is fairly stiff but it really depends on how much hair you have / how thick it is. I have medium thick fine hair and I find they aren't stiff enough to properly get into my hair and touch the scalp. Then again, our definitions of stiff might be different! If I put the brush against my hand and press down, I can bend the bristles; that might be a more helpful measure?

Next, wash the brush by put two to three drops of essential oils or soap in a bowl of warm water. The height of the water shouldn’t be higher than the bristles to avoid getting the wooden part wet. Place the brush into the bowl, with the bristles facing down. Move the brush in the bowl for 1 – 3 minutes. Then repeat the same process in another bowl with just plain water. It all begins with your hair type and knowing which brush suits your hair type and why are you buying it. First of all, boar bristles. All our brushes have 100% natural boar bristles, and the fact is that this kind of bristles is soft. If you are looking for a styling brush, it's hard for this brush to do that job, due to its soft texture. It will work for people with thine, fine and short hair, but it will be harder for people with longer hair to get the desired results. However, a boar bristle brush should not be chosen for styling, but for the fantastic benefits (you can read more about that in the product description), it has for your hair strands when using it. Used correctly and with patience, it can restore your hair's natural health, regardless of your type of hair. You will find out there some boar bristle brushes that have a mixture of boar bristles and black nylon/plastic thin bristles. They look pretty much the same at first sight, and it's pretty hard to tell the difference between them. However, on a closer look, you can see the nylon bristles are stiffer than boar bristles, and they miss the light brown tip. The ultimate test is to pull out one bristle and set it on fire.
