It appears to be lighter than it actually is because of the material it is made of so it looks like it would be lighter than average. No it is not loud. Answer:	The cable is long enoug to be plugged in at the floor level and reach about 5 inches or so over my head and I'm 5 foot 8, so I'd say it's about 6ft long but I'm not absolutely positive on the exact length.
Question:	Is the "cool button" really cool and strong when pushed
Answer:	First, I have to say that the documentation regarding the "cool" button in all of the manufacturer's materials is extremely poor. In any event, let's understand that there are 2 "cool" functions. There is a gray sliding switch that adjusts the temperature of the air being blown(Cool-Warm-Hot). In addition, there is a blue "cool" button; I assume that you are asking about that button. The only apparent function of that blue button seems to be to inactivate the heating function - so, if the temperature slide button is set to Warm or Hot, and you press (and hold) the blue Cool button, you end up getting non-heated, or cool, air. This seems to be the same as just sliding the temperature control switch to Cool setting. Why the two are duplicated, I really don't understand. Regardless, this hair dryer clearly is not an air conditioning unit with refrigerant! - so the coldest air you can get is room temperature. However, it might feel a little cool simply because of the blowing action of the air on your scalp and skin, especially when they are a little wet. Getting back to your original questions: the blue cool button (and/or the air temperature slide switch) do not cause very cold air to be produced, and it does not control how "strong" an air flow you get.
