Question:	Is the weight really only 8 ounces
Answer:	The dryer itself is heavier than .5, as the seller stated. I used kitchen scale to weigh it and the weight is ~12 oz, and it feels as 12 oz. Still a lightweight, but I wanted to double-check.

Answer:	Just a little bit shy of 2 inches. I love this dryer. However, I am really disappointed as the dryer just quit. Why I do not know. I would take it apart and repair it if I could figure out how to get it apart. It's not worth sending to the company so I just chalk it up to Not made as well as it should have been. I just happened to have a back-up dryer (same one). And, I like the folding handle. Do not use any of the attachments. I realize you did not ask for any additional information but thought you might want to know.
Question:	Does the high speed, low speed and cool shot button all work in the 250v mode? I read that that's not always the case
Answer:	I wish someone had answered this question accurately. I just got mine. The instruction manual states that only the low speed will work oversees in the 250V mode and that the switch should remain on low. It's quite heavy and if high speed/heat can't be used I don't know if its worth carrying all over Europe.
Question:	Can this hair dryer be used in Europe with just an adapter
Answer:	No, even when set to 125v with an EU adapter it still overheats.

why does it advise in the instructions not to wind cord around the barrel of the dryer when storing

If you have highlights all over they will be more light , but if your natural or box color is blonde with highlight then your whole hair will get more lighter. That why you should use it once a week and not everyday. My hair was blonde and my roots were gray but I'm letting the gray come out all together and this made it perfect product because it all came together and made it uniform and lighter everyone thought I color my hair.
