The attachment fits tightly, but is not too hard to remove when you want to switch it up. Hope that helps! Honestly, the biggest deal about this hair dryer is the ability to choose positive or negative ions. Negative ions a sleeking, but make my fine hair flat. The positive ones are major body-making. Instead I bought the conair 1875 ionic lightweight dryer, which is not as loud and doesn't sound like its malfunctioning. The 1875 lightweight works well. There is probably a quieter version of a hair dryer, just don't know which one. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The cable is long enoug to be plugged in at the floor level and reach about 5 inches or so over my head and I'm 5 foot 8, so I'd say it's about 6ft long but I'm not absolutely positive on the exact length.
Question:	Is the "cool button" really cool and strong when pushed
Answer:	First, I have to say that the documentation regarding the "cool" button in all of the manufacturer's materials is extremely poor. In any event, let's understand that there are 2 "cool" functions. There is a gray sliding switch that adjusts the temperature of the air being blown(Cool-Warm-Hot). In addition, there is a blue "cool" button; I assume that you are asking about that button. The only apparent function of that blue button seems to be to inactivate the heating function - so, if the temperature slide button is set to Warm or Hot, and you press (and hold) the blue Cool button, you end up getting non-heated, or cool, air. This seems to be the same as just sliding the temperature control switch to Cool setting. Why the two are duplicated, I really don't understand. Regardless, this hair dryer clearly is not an air conditioning unit with refrigerant! - so the coldest air you can get is room temperature. However, it might feel a little cool simply because of the blowing action of the air on your scalp and skin, especially when they are a little wet. Getting back to your original questions: the blue cool button (and/or the air temperature slide switch) do not cause very cold air to be produced, and it does not control how "strong" an air flow you get.

Answer:	Yup. The heat (cold, warm, hot) and the speed (low, medium, high) are two separate settings/controls. In addition to the regular controls, there is a separate cool shot button you can press while using a hot setting that gives you a shot of cold air while you hold down the button (and when you release it, it goes back to hot).

Answer:	TWIST IT OFF ~ DO NOT SNAP IT OFF! I used a 'grip cloth' for opening jars and just TWISTED the filter cover to the LEFT; it came off easily. To put it back on securely repeat the steps, but TWIST it to the RIGHT. *There were no instructions and I considered 'snapping it off' as was suggested in one answer when I could not twist it off. DON'T = BREAKAGE!!!

Answer:	The cord is 55 inches long.

Answer:	No it is not, only 110v (marked as 125v).

Answer:	Yes, it does....but like all warranties it a pain to use. Asurion also covers the unit...both are "covered" for 2 years. But...Asurion will not cover it if the Conair warranty is still good...which it will be because they both cover 2 years. So no point in buying the Asurion plan as it will be worthless. This dryer WILL stop working within that 2 year window due to a poor fan design, and Conair will take it back...but the cost to return the unit will be as much as the original unit costs.
Question:	Does cool button need to hold while drying hair or just push once & it blows the cool air the whole time
Answer:	I always use the warm air to dry my hair. Sorry I can't help you. I just looked, and I don't have a cool button, only hot and warm.

Question:	Will this item fit in an 12x12 hair dryer bag
Answer:	I removed the plastic insert from the diffuser and put inside the nozzle of my hair dryer. That was a pretty good fit. Then I put the diffuser on top of the insert, which was a loose fit. I used duct tape around the diffuser and dryer to secure. So far I only used the rig once, but it seemed to work pretty well. Not an easy attachment to be sure, and no clue how long my setup will last.

Answer:	I used this last summer in UK and France. There was some mislabeling and one attachment was consistently difficult to get a plug into; it's a pretty cheap set but it did work.

Answer:	Not quite sure what you mean. This Conair product works great. You plug this product into the wall outlet and then plug your cord into it. What my daughter did was plug all her cords into a surge protector and then plug that into the Conair. She had no problems using this product on her travels to both China and Japan. The items she had to charge were her laptop, phone and alarm clock. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I think you'll need the TravelSmart converter, not just the adapter plugs. I assume Turkey, like other European countries I've traveled to uses 220V, and the US uses 110. That said, anymore, some appliances (e.g. my hair dryer) and most modern electronics (smart phones) are already dual voltage, and so if your electrical device is already dual voltage, then, yes, this set of converter plugs will enable to you plug your device into U.S. outlets.

Looking for a way to make it slide better. Silicon spray?
Question:	does this dryer dries the lower neck part of your hair
Answer:	If you sit under it long enough it will. I am AA with bra strap lenght hair and usually need about 75-90 min under the dryer. With this one I have been under for as long as two hours for a fully dry roller set. I wish I could tell you its a good buy but its not. I been roller setting my own hair since age 12 and this is the worst and loudest hood dryer I ever used. The very worst part is there really is no way to lock the hood in place. They have the flimsy plastic catch on the back and this dryer will collapse on your head at the slightest movement. It took me a while to master lowering the dryer down over my head with both hands up and behind my head to push the catch into place. Ok Ill stop rambling...find another dryer cause this one aint it.
