Question:	Does this style hair or just protect from heat
Answer:	It's strictly a heat protectant. It does not act as a styling aid. It works very well to protect hair from heat and leaves it soft, silky and smells amazing!
Question:	How exactly does it smell like
Answer:	Overpowering smell, I did not like it at all. It gets stronger as you spray more on your hair. It does fade once the spray has settled in your hair, but the application process was almost unbearable.
Question:	Does this make your feel like straw like other thermal protectors
Answer:	1. I have not used other thermal protectors, so I have nothing to compare to. 2. This product makes my hair soft, silky and shiny. People come up to me and ask me, "What do you do to make your hair so shiny?" I also use a Schwartzkopf split end repair product cream after shampooing with Redkin. So it could be the combination. But I like this product and would buy it again. Suggest using it sparingly as it really does make your hair super soft!
Question:	What's in the ingredients
Answer:	There are about 30 different ingredients... practically all unpronounceable and unrecognizable except water (1st) alcohol, silicon, soy protein. The seed oil that may be argan is about the 20th ingredient. It claims to be "infused" with argan oil prominently on the front. I tried it because it referenced Argan Oil...but It makes my hair coated dry and stiff feeling. HSI does make a GREAT leave in hair treatment where Argan Oil is the second ingredient that leaves your hair, even hair that starts dry and damaged, satiny and gorgeous and works beautifully with heat. It is expensive but lasts for a long long time as you seriously only use a drop or two at at time.

Answer:	The blow dryer helps straighten it out, but the flat iron is what seals the straightening treatment in your hair, and treats it as an iron guard. So the answer is no, it shouldn't be used with a dryer only. The back of the box says blow dry then use a flat iron to seal in the straightener *i just pulled out my box and read it lol*.

Answer:	If you have a curly perm, Which are thio based products, which is not compatible with sodium based relaxers. Hair damage and breakage will happen if you use this product on hair already processed with a curly or wavy perm.

Answer:	First I would like to say that I have very thick curly hair and am of Caucasian descent on my mother's side and black American in my dad's side. My mom had strait thin hair as did my sister, and my dad had thick wavy hair, so I came put with thick creepy hair hehe. I would recommend you try the regular. Super is pretty strong. My hair is very thick and curly and the super gives it a better softness and gives it a more controllable texture. I have used the regular formula and believe it would be more than enough to relax thin hair. I recommend at first, letting it stay in for 5 to 7 minutes to test it and see how much it relaxes your hair. Then, you can see how much time you may prefer to let it stay in. I have gotten to the point of finding my particular grain can take up to 15; even 20 minutes, using the super formula and gives it an easier to manage natural looking and feeling curl. I also use Lustig's S-Curls hair moisturizer that helps it to soften my hair. Also apply Vaseline on the outliner of your hair on your skin to prevent burning. Try not to get it too close to to your scalp when you apply with your comb. Hopefully that helps you out. I'd like to know how you make out. This is the best relaxer I've found and I've tried a few over the decades. About 3 decades I've used Revlon.

Answer:	I use Just For Men Hair Color and I personally have no problem relaxing my hair with Revlon Super. I don't know if Just For Men hair color is considered dyed; but I don't have any problems, and I've been using both for years. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Hi. I have used it more when my hair is wet. It made it easier for me to twist my hair. When my hair is dry, It holds my edges in place longer. Question:	What is the shelf life for straight guard
Answer:	This product usually lasts me 3 or 4 months and it has been fine. I do not know if it goes bad. I’ve never had a problem with this product and have been able too use the entire bottle

Answer:	It has Laureth-7 so not sure if this is anothe name for Laureth sulfate. I would check with the manufacturer. As far as keratin treated hair, it doesn't say you can't but keratin is one of the ingredients.

Question:	My hair gets wavy and curly in humidity otherwise it’s straight. Will this keep it straight at the beach
Answer:	While this does help to smooth hair and control frizz, it may not completely prevent your hair from waving or curling in areas of high humidity and moisture such as a beach. We hope this helps!
Question:	Can I use on my hair when it is dried
Answer:	No because you blow dry your hair with the product on it. However, your hair can be damp, it does not have to be sopping wet.
Question:	Can I use this without a blow dryer? And let it air dry
Answer:	I have very curly hair that is very frizzy when dry if I use no product in it. I put straight fixation in towel dried hair and let it dry naturally. It is the best product I have found for my hair. If left undisturbed to dry, it takes out the frizz and does not leave it sticky or stiff, just soft. After it's dry, if I notice any frizzy ends, I use a little of it on the dry ends and it smooths them out. I love this product, but it's getting harder and harder to find in the stores.
