Answer:	Yes, I use it before flat-ironing, and then let it soak in a bit so my hair is back to being fairly dry before applying the iron. If you want to add some frizz control, you can lightly spray the section of hair with a light hold hairspray before applying the iron, but do this sparingly. I'm told it can damage your hair, but it doesn't seem to be too bad for mine as long as I don't let the iron get too hot. Setting the iron too hot will destroy hair and make it frizzier in the long run. That is very important. I don't let mine get any hotter than is necessary to do the job (which is easier to do with a little hairspray). If you do use my method, do not go over the hair more than once with the iron, and it's best not to brush it out right away. It needs to cool a bit. Good luck--that was probably TMI! :)
