Answer:	I use a small amount on damp hair. Doesn't work well with dry hair. Nothing compared to Matrix loosely defined textured cream which is not available any more.
Question:	Is the formula of "max hold" different from "max hold high shine"? i'm allergic to the "max hold high shine", but can't find "max hold" anymore
Answer:	There is no expiration date listed. My wife said she uses it sparingly and last jar was as good at a year and a half as it was new.

Answer:	I honestly don't know. However, the salon that introduced me to this product is very green and environmentally conscious. I would be very surprised if they used any products tested on animals.

Answer:	Oribe is much better! I made the mistake of trying this one but it is nothing like Oribe. It's super sticky and drying and smells awful.

Answer:	No - mine didn’t have a safety seal. Also product didn’t do much to help my hair.

Answer:	Not aware there is one.
Question:	Any one know the differences between all their gels? They seem to have 4 different kinds of clean gel
Answer:	Don't know about 4, but they have the clean gel and melting gel both in the same series. The melting gel is more watery but still holds firm on drying, the clean gel is more stiff.
Question:	Is it noticeable that you are wearing gel? And how about dandruff, what's the situation with that
Answer:	My husband uses this gel and it is not noticeable. He has very fine hair and it gets a little unruly. This is his favorite gel. He doesn't have dandruff but with any hair gel, you want to wash and rinse your hair thoroughly. One thing I will caution about. It is gel so when he sits in his chair, we have a towel where his head rests because it will transfer to what your head leans on regularly. It will wipe off easily if it's leather or vinyl, but cloth should be protected. He looks great though!

Answer:	Hello - people have commented that the hairspray as a more fragranced scent (slightly sweeter smelling)

Answer:	I love this stuff - my hair is fine, thin blond. This helps give it body and hold a shape, especially in humidity. Mine doesn't spray, it's foam. Hold the can upside down, point the nozzle into your other palm, and push the button with your index finger. Foam should come out in your palm. Hope that helps.
Question:	The last can of Davines volume boost mousse I purchased is half full because the dispensing cap broke and does not work. Too expensive to waste
Answer:	Same thing happened to me. The dispenser cap quit working less than half way through. It just comes out a liquid

Answer:	Except the scent is VERY different. This mousse smells cloyingly sweet. I used it before smelling it and had to rewash my hair. I wish they didn’t discontinue the old mousse. I had to buy a bottle on eBay.

Answer:	I haven't noticed any in the week I've used it.
Question:	Does this have fragrance? Looking doe something with no or low added fragrances
Answer:	I would say no. It may have a little fragrance when you put it in your hands to apply but I've never thought it was strong. I know I can't smell it once applied to my hair. Hope that helps!
Question:	Good for medium long hair? Also my hair tends to part down the middle which I hate, will this help to lock my hair back if I style the pushed back
Answer:	i love this stuff more a a texturizing paste
Question:	How does this compare to the Aveda grooming clay for men
Answer:	Works about the same as the regular grooming clay, and has the same mat finish (no shine). However, it holds better in wet conditions. I would recommend it even if you don't need thickening.
