Answer:	This product is far superior to any coal tar product. Since coal tar is now linked to skin cancer, you want to be careful.

Answer:	No, that is a separate product. The information I was given said to first use the salicylic acid shampoo for a while to soften the scales, then the coal tar shampoo.
Question:	How is this different from other Salicylic Acid shampoos
Answer:	I'm not sure if it has a more concentrated acid content, but the MG217 is a good brand. Both their coal tar and salicylic acid topical ointments have worked for me. Patches that I have had for over 3 years have disappeared with those 2 ointments. Personally I didn't see as much progress with this shampoo as I do with homemade apple cider vinegar shampoos, but I did see some results. It did make my dandruff worse though. It would be worth a try because different people react differently to different solutions. Their other products have worked wonders for me.

I do condition my hair every time I wash it- in large part because it is so fine it tangles badly if it hasn't been conditioned. I love this shampoo- it works really well for me and leaves my hair soft. Not sure if that helps at all...

Answer:	It varies for each individual depending on how brassy their hair is and how porous or non porous it. No one can give you a specific amount of time. Follow the directions given to you on the paper provided in the box. If it doesn't get rid of all the brassiness, add more time to the time that you leave it in.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

BOLD UNIQ by B Uniq Purple Shampoo deposits violet pigments on to the hair to cancel out yellow tones. As purple and yellow are opposing colors on the color wheel, hair appears lighter and brighter. The violet pigment sits on the surface of the hair and washes out within 6-8 washes.

With regular use, purple shampoo can help you achieve anything from muting brassy tones for a warm honey blonde to a cool white platinum, depending on hair shade and how long it’s left on the hair.

HINTS & TIPS!

1. If you over-do it and your hair is too violet, don’t panic! Use a clarifying shampoo to remove the purple tinge from your hair.

2. Wait at least two weeks after having hair bleached, permed or colored before using a purple shampoo and leave on for only 1-3 minutes. As color treatments can make hair more porous, the result may be an uneven, patchy look if used soon after dyeing.

Question:	I have oily, tingling scalp and bald spots. Will this help? Is this shampoo safe
Answer:	Not 100% on hair regrowth, but this stuff is amazing! It deep cleans, as directions tell you to leave in for abt 2-3 min then rinse. And that’s the shampoo! I use it maybe 3-4 times a week, to strip product, etc. also, this stuff is better for your hair than store brand stuff. I never buy shampoos and conditioners from stores like Target, a Walmart, etc. those can actually clean hair too much, stripping the natural oils hence damaging more. Try this shampoo- it is worth it!!
Question:	Is there an adjustment period to this shampoo? I used it for the first time yesterday and by this afternoon my hair is super greasy
Answer:	Your scalp might be used to more abrasive cleansers or being washed every day, which both will stimulate oil production. Make sure to follow the directions on the bottle. Wash 2x and let the shampoo sit on your scalp for a few minutes to let it do its magic. Washing less frequently should eventually lead to less oil production. Yes, there may be an adjustment period.

Answer:	That really dpends on your hair type but I would say yes, you would need to use conditioner as it does not leave your hair soft. It’s more of a deep cleansing shampoo. Great shampoo though.
