Answer:	Well the shampoo bar I purchased is purple, the conditioner bar I got is not purple, it’s actually cream colored. So I’m not sure. Question:	I have recently died my hair a lighter blonde than it already is and it turned my roots yellow? Will this help take that yellow out and make it blonde
Answer:	Yellow and purple make brown. So no. You have to bleach it lighter which will still have yellow tones to it but this stuff will tone down those gold tones and make it look more blond. If you hair is a lighter yellow almost white then it can actually make your hair purplish if you leave in on for a while. I actually don’t know what your hair looks like but at salons hairstyles use purple glazes on your hair to make it more ashy or more blond to get gold tones out. This made my hair soft too. I just didn’t like the smell of it. Hope this helped.
Question:	Will it change the color of my brown lowlights...I don't want them to lighten at all
Answer:	It'll tone them. So if they're a warmer brown or any brassiness in them, yes. It did to mine at least.

Answer:	Purple shampoo neutralizes yellow tones of your hair. It helps get rid of the brassy tones. I have black hair and got it bleached and it turned orangey in a few days. After leaving this on my hair for 15-20 mins, the orange hues turned into a goldish ashy tone. I hope that helps.

Answer:	I am not a hair stylist but, a toner is different than a toning shampoo. I toner is a straight chemical and a toning shampoo takes out that yellowish color banana peel color and makes it more of a vibrant banana fruit blonde. A toner will take out the didn't leave in long enough brassy orange/yellow, where the shampoo takes out the yellow brass. The shampoo is easier on your hair.
Question:	Gluten free
Answer:	All it does is makes blonde a cooler tone. So any red, orange, or yellows will go away. It doesn't do anything for brown really, I just think it will take care of the warm tones. It won't fade color, just removes the warm. Even if you don't like the effect, a couple of washes and it will turn back.

Answer:	Love this Poo! If I use with regular conditioner my silver/white hair is brighter with very little blue/purple tone. When I want to kick up the blue/purple tone I use a purple conditioner.

Answer:	I leave it on at least 5 min.. and use it once a week .. I love it

Answer:	I found it doesn’t do anything for my gray roots.. but it is changing my blond high lites into a great color
Question:	If they say to use gloves, can you use it in the shower without staining your tub/surround AND your skin
Answer:	I have used gloves and shampooed over my utility room sink. It hasn’t stained the sink, stray purple suds have washed out completely from an old towel and I haven’t had any staining on my skin, however, I’m not sure I want to try it out in the shower... But that’s just me...lol (The results are stunning and worth the extra steps)
Question:	Will it hurt or change my natural grey that's growing out? I need it for the bleached (long) ends that turn yellow

HOW TO & FAQ

Wearing gloves, massage a small amount into wet hair. Lather, rinse and repeat. Follow with the conditioner of your choice (we like pairing with Froze Cool Toning Conditioner!). Depending on your hair color and type, use 2-4 times per month (approximately every 3rd wash), or as you notice brassiness. What is the difference between Violet and Glace?

Violet is super pigmented and ideal for use either weekly or every other week (i.e. every 3rd wash) for intensive color correcting. Glace Cool Toning Shampoo for is great for more casual color maintenance—some people use it every time they shampoo.

How often should I use Violet?

If you are a daily hair washer, you may find that washing with Violet once per week is ideal. On the other days, you can use your normal go-to shampoo (or even alternate with Glace). If you wash less frequently, you will want to extend your use of Violet to at least every 3rd wash. Keep an eye on your color...If you start to notice brassiness, that’s when you’ll want to wash again.

What else can I do to avoid brassiness?

Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight (think hats!) and try to keep your hair out of chlorine and salt water. If you have hard water in your shower, think about purchasing a filtered showerhead to remove the minerals. Lastly, investing in quality hair care products (like toning shampoo) will help to keep you light locks bright and beautiful.

I think I left Violet on for too long and now my hair is violet. What can I do?

We recommend washing with Dreamy Purifying Shampoo to remove the excess pigment. If you find that your hair feels like it needs extra hydration, make sure to follow up with one of our moisturizing conditioners or hair masques.
