Answer:	I would use Murray’s pomade, which is petroleum jelly based. I would use this shampoo to take the pomade out of my hair, but before washes I would massage extra virgin olive oil into my hair. The olive oil clings to the pomade and is easier to wash out the grease. It will also leave your hair nourished after washing your hair a couple of times in a row. Without the olive oil, your hair will be dry after washing your hair multiple times. I use extra virgin because it has all the nutrients.

Answer:	This question is based on my original review and I don't remember my review but don't think shampoos are tested to include the GF symbol. This testing, for wheat, is usually on edible items but I can understand being careful! However, I got this shampoo for someone else. He likes Dove products. I'm the one with the wheat allergies and I use a different shampoo but don't think my shampoo has the GF label either. I'm going to look next time we have the 2 in 1 shampoo. Right now we have a different type of Dove shampoo, the Thick and Strong. No label on this one.

Answer:	You have to Remove, or Detach and lift, the pump tube Away from the bottle, wipe off the upper part of the gooey plastic pump body, grasp or gently use pliers to LOOSELY hold the tube (to stop it from spinning), and then while holding... rotate the pump nozzle counterclockwise until it releases and pops up. Then reassemble the pump onto the bottle. It could be easier, but it is what it is.

Answer:	I don't think dyed has anything to do with the performance. I find that my hair is actually growing however, I don't have dyed hair.

Answer:	Definitely more volume. Hair no longer feels thin as it does with your typical shampoo/conditioner. It does help a bit with growth, it does have BIOTIN after all. Seeing as I have a bit less hair as I age, I feel I can't do without, though a bit of luxury as it is pricey.

Sulfonate is related to but not the same as sulfates. In a sulfonate the sulfur is linked direct to a carbon atom where as a sulfate is linked directly to the carbon chain via an oxygen atom. They do have similar qualities when it comes to propensity of being irritating to the skin but sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is not a sulfate.

Answer:	FAKE REVIEWS?! Most of the positive reviews are suspiciously from July/Aug of 2018 or other clumped time spots. Does everybody have thinning hair at the same time? It appears as if they hire some folks for a few weeks to write the reviews. It is sad that we have to be so hypersensitive to fake news, and that they do not believe in their product enough to let the real users speak. I don't have a lot of extra $$ but I have pride and my review cannot be bought with a free bottle of anything.

Answer:	I did not notice increase in static, but it does make the hair extremely hard to comb through. I have fine hair, but after each wash I get so many knots, that it is a real mission to comb. I use Pura D'Or conditioner as well, but it does not make any difference.

Answer:	Well I just went through and compared all the ingredients between the golden and blue version. The BIG BIG DIFFERENCE that jumped out at me is this now has Ketoconazole at 0.9% in it. I have been historically using the blue version and using Nizoral Ketoconazole shampoo twice a week (marketed for dandruff at $14 per bottle and available at target) which is typically used as the only ingredient in lots of expensive hair loss shampoos out there! So Pura D' Or has taken my advice!...and have added a very important ingredient to this mix. Also it has added Alma oil, Prunus Africana bark and Cucubita Pepo herbs that the blue bottle does not have.

Question:	Do you have to use his daily? How long does the color last when you reach your desired shade
Answer:	Frequency of use depends on your level of gray and how much you want to darken it. Personally, once I reached the color I wanted, I only use it once or twice a week now. I have medium-dark brown hair and probably 70% gray. This stuff works great for me. The color basically is permanent. It will last until you cut off the dyed hair. When you cut your hair, you will expose new roots at the bottom which are white or hair that is lighter in color because they haven't been dyed as many times. I cut my own hair and beard every week. Some weeks I can get away with one application and some weeks it may take a second application to get it back to where I want it.
Question:	does this work for gray stubble like 3-4 days without shaving or will it dye the skin too
Answer:	I've found that the Control GX beard wash works best with a beard length of at least a 1/2" up to maybe 1 1/2". At that length, it has something to cling to and the more fluid shampoo really gets into the beard in a way the 2 part mix and brush-in product can't. But, for stubble the thicker 2 part product with the color gel and developer gel and brush will cling to the short hair much better. The only problem at that point is that average facial hair growth rates are around 1/8" per week. And that new hair is gonna be whatever color you have naturally. If you trim to maintain a certain stubble length, you'll be back to white in a week.
Question:	No matter how i shake, the end of the tube is alway just dark brown (beige out of a new tube). is this going to work the same
Answer:	I've been using Control GX for a couple of years. This product uses a chemical reaction that depends on oxygen to activate the dye. Sealed up in the tube it's a beige color. Once you squeeze it out and apply, it begins to react with the oxygen in the air and darken over the course of 5-10 minutes. You'll even notice a further small amount of color change over the 24 hours after you've rinsed it out and dried your hair as oxygen continues to react with the dye bonded to your hair. The key to minimize the color change in the tube is to minimize the exposure to oxygen while it is stored for weeks while you use it. If you are using it say 4 times per week you may go through a tube in a couple of weeks and that will limit the amount of time it will sit in the tube reacting to oxygen. Personally, I have a medium brown natural hair color. After getting my hair color where I wanted it, I only use Control GX once or twice a week to maintain the look I want. So a tube will last me 4-6 weeks. In that time, it will oxidize and turn partially black. But there is something you can do to minimize that. When you finishing applying and you're waiting for the dye to work, go back and pop open the tube then squeeze it so that the goop inside is just about to come out. Now close the cover and make sure it snaps shut. That will expel 99% of the oxygen from the now partially empty tube and seal it as well as possible. Store it standing up vertically so the stuff inside forms a seal against the top (bottom when stored). If you don't do this, all that space inside the tube that used to be filled with Control GX ends up filled with oxygen and the chemical reaction will take place. With that said, I use it whether or not is is oxidized and it still seems to have an effect even if it is partially oxidized.
Question:	Does this beard gx shampoo work better for brown or black tones of hair
Answer:	It works best with light brown to medium brown hair. You'll need to use it more often and leave it in longer to reach a black color. Also, there's more contrast between your gray or white hair and your black hair than someone with medium brown hair. The Control GX will tone down that contrast a lot even if you don't get it all the way to black. And don't forget that this product isn't meant to produce a uniformly colored head of hair. It's meant to leave some gray to make it look more natural.

Answer:	I am not sure. Previoisly the conditioner was sold individually or as a set with the shampoo. I was buyimg for few years and when i went to reorder again, it said item out of stock:do not know of or when item will be back in stock etc. I have waited for months and it hasn't come back nor is it available on their website. So I ended up switching my routine as i cannot get whole set anymore.

Answer:	Neem Oil, Micronized Oatmeal, Vit. E, AloeVera, Panthenol (Vit. B-5), Allentoin, and natural fragrance. I would like to add that this product does not dry very quickly. My cat started to lick the places where I used it, and as you can see the ingredients are not clearly stated whether or not that would be harmful.
