Answer:	It's strictly a heat protectant. It does not act as a styling aid. It works very well to protect hair from heat and leaves it soft, silky and smells amazing!

Answer:	Overpowering smell, I did not like it at all. It gets stronger as you spray more on your hair. It does fade once the spray has settled in your hair, but the application process was almost unbearable.

Answer:	1. I have not used other thermal protectors, so I have nothing to compare to. 2. This product makes my hair soft, silky and shiny. People come up to me and ask me, "What do you do to make your hair so shiny?" I also use a Schwartzkopf split end repair product cream after shampooing with Redkin. So it could be the combination. But I like this product and would buy it again. Suggest using it sparingly as it really does make your hair super soft!
Question:	What's in the ingredients
Answer:	There are about 30 different ingredients... practically all unpronounceable and unrecognizable except water (1st) alcohol, silicon, soy protein. The seed oil that may be argan is about the 20th ingredient. It claims to be "infused" with argan oil prominently on the front. I tried it because it referenced Argan Oil...but It makes my hair coated dry and stiff feeling. HSI does make a GREAT leave in hair treatment where Argan Oil is the second ingredient that leaves your hair, even hair that starts dry and damaged, satiny and gorgeous and works beautifully with heat. It is expensive but lasts for a long long time as you seriously only use a drop or two at at time.

Answer:	Scents are hard to describe, and preferences vary with each person, but I DON'T like the scent.. It's very strong, with a chemical-like tinge that I don't like. (To contrast, I sometimes use a mousse to hold in curls when I use hot rollers, and I LOVE that scent, which is sort of fruity, and strong enough for someone to smell & comment on its wonderful scent, sitting next to me at a sporting event.) Because the Hot Toddy scent is equally strong, I don't like surely wreaking of the Hot Toddy scent which I don't like. As for appearance, I can only speak to how it looks when I spray it on before using hot rollers. (I let my hair dry naturally before using hot rollers to curl it.) It DOES seem to be heat-protective, and leaves a bit of shine - in a good way. Reminds me of spraying Scotchgard on sofa upholstery to protect it from wine spills. I think it adds a tad of extra hold too, but not 100% sure, cause I alternate styling gels & mousses, but it doesn't hurt the hold any. Btw, I understand, from Drybar's website, that the LOTION should be used on WET hair, as before blow drying. And this MIST is for spraying on dry hair BEFORE using hot tools like blow dryers, hot irons, etc. Ultimately, I'll probably seek out another heat protective product after I've finished this, strictly because I don't like the scent.
