Answer:	Yes, it's sulfate free. Sulfates are usually used in shampoos or as surfactants or emulsifiers. This product is sulfate free and Curly Girl method approved if you follow that. :) The silicone used in this product is water soluble (if you are a no/low-poo person) as well. You can google "is it curly girl" and there are websites that let you copy and past the ingredient list of products, and they will tell you what they stuff in them is and what to watch out for. Question:	Does this make your hair clump? or leave white flakes? or make it look oily
Answer:	Frizz can signal any number if things and not just product. Since you're learning, first figure out your hair porosity, from there you will be able to figure out what your hair wants - what it needs. To do this just Google: Hair Porosity Test, which basically involves a quick test, floating a piece of CLEAN (no product since product coating on a hair will alter results) dry hair (retrieve a strand from shower floor - let it dry) in a cup of water. Your hair porosity will be either low, medium or high. From there you can determine if your hair requires just moisturizers but no protein coating product or mostly moisturizing product but could benefit from the occasional protein treatment or your hair craves mostly protein based product but easy on the essential oils and moisturizers. Another strand test to give you this information is an Elasticity Test. Again, Google and start reading! I personally have medium-high porosity hair so my thick, 3a curls absolutely FREAK if I use protein based shampoos, stylers or anything. Not knowing this most of my life gave me cabinets loaded down with product that 'didn't work' but I never understood why. Like most people, I chalked it up to the alcohol. Now I know that it's the added undistilled protein that made my hair wonky & frizzy, and it didn't matter what well-meaning, trusted company made the product or how many people swear by it or IG it with a perfect selfie! This defining cream you tried mentions it's for all curl types and texture but notice it doesn't tell you for what porosity type - and that is where it matters, what the results will actually be. Naturally curly dot com has great articles to help people figure this all out as well as protein types (distilled vs undistilled coconut) and reading labels. For towel, get a few microfiber towels for hair and never again use anything else to dry your hair. When you dry, use the towel to squeeze/press water out. Don't rub it around your head like you just bathed the dog 😉. Another thing you may want to try is put your leave-in conditioner (if your hair needs it) followed by styling product(s) of choice while your hair is still dripping wet. As soon as you shut off the shower, give your hair a light squeeze with that new towel just to keep the runoff, the water drops back then dry the rest of you. When you start grabbing product, going through your routine of deodorant and so on, get that product on your hair, don't let so much as a single strand air dry. If it does start to dry for whatever reason, rewet it and this is why every curly keeps a spray bottle of water on hand. My hair is so moisture craved, I have to get my stylers in when my hair is drenched. If my hair starts to dry ever so slightly before I get to it and I put product in with my hair like that, it will be frizzy no matter what perfectly suited product I'm using. But if my hair has started to dry then I spray bottle my hair back down to dripping wet, gently squeeze the dripping excess, put in my product, it's like magic - no frizz! Next tip: look up on Amazon or Sallys beauty Supply and get a Denman brush. You said you have fine hair so you'll want a 7 row Denman brush with removable rows. Then look up on you tube, how to use a Denman brush on curly wavy hair. It'll change your life👍 Lastly and the most important but often most difficult, after you've done all of that, your product is in, you've brushed, scrunched and its done: DO. NOT. TOUCH. IT. or tie it back or sit in front of a fan to get it dried faster or go for a bike ride - all of this is inviting frizz. Let your hair take it from there. It's a good time to go watch an old movie, preferably one in which a girl is on the phone and says: "You mean this Friday? Oh I don't know, Bobby. I don't think I can go on Friday night. Answer:	The cream has a very soft hold and is more moisturizing (I've found). The mouse has a very light hold, but it also a lighter product. If you have thick, course, or tightly curled or coily hair, I'd use the cream. If you have looser curls, finer hair, or have issues with heavy products/low volume, I'd use the mouse. Answer:	My hair is pretty straight too. It makes your hair instantly kind of wavy. I usually scrunch a little and blow dry as I scrunch. But if I just spray and leave it, it gives my hair some much needed volume/bounce. It makes my hair feel a little dirty, but I like that since my hair is super slick... it makes messy pony tails and buns work better. Hope that helps!

Answer:	I had to look up what Alopecia means and what it says on WebMD is this: https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/guide/alopecia-areata#1. Those are the cures available, therefore I doubt if this quite plain oil can help you grow hair. It might help to make your scalp smooth and soft but it is definitely not to be used as a medical therapy.

Answer:	I'm not sure what Super Skinny means. I have used this product for about 6 years and love it. I use shampoo, (light conditioner) and Super Skinny on my wet hair before drying, as an extra de-tangler. A little goes a long way! I rub access on my hands and sometimes on my legs... so soft!!! I was never under the impression it was just for thin hair...and I would think it would be great for thick hair too!

Question:	What's the difference between the wax and the paste
Answer:	Wax is the predominant ingredient vs petrolatum in the paste. Petrolatum is a mineral oil which gives a less defined texture, it tends to break down through the day. If you have fine hair, paste will get very oily as it breaks down. Because of its chemical/fossil fuel background a lot of people prefer the more eco wax. I prefer the messier texture from wax, it’s really easy to restyle at the end of the day. Both are water insoluble though, so a deep cleansing shampoo about once a week is recommended.

Answer:	Yes, free of both. I checked the ingredients list on the jar before responding here. And, I love this product. Before this I used "It's A 10" , which I would still recommend to anyone who asks, but this product is best for me. I use it after my shower while my hair is still wet, then again in the morning with a few drops of water on my fingers. A little goes a long way. My hair goes down my back 1/2 way down my shoulder blade.

Answer:	It’s slightly yellow in color but I don’t believe that will tarnish the color of ones hair.

Answer:	I do not recommend fore arm. this is not a wrist arm one. This need to be used on the upper arm. However, I have not tried to see if it picks up on the forearm. I suppose one can try and see if it work on the fore arm.
