They do have similar qualities when it comes to propensity of being irritating to the skin but sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is not a sulfate.

Answer:	FAKE REVIEWS?! Most of the positive reviews are suspiciously from July/Aug of 2018 or other clumped time spots. Does everybody have thinning hair at the same time? It appears as if they hire some folks for a few weeks to write the reviews. It is sad that we have to be so hypersensitive to fake news, and that they do not believe in their product enough to let the real users speak. Answer:	I did not notice increase in static, but it does make the hair extremely hard to comb through. I have fine hair, but after each wash I get so many knots, that it is a real mission to comb. I use Pura D'Or conditioner as well, but it does not make any difference.

Answer:	Well I just went through and compared all the ingredients between the golden and blue version. The BIG BIG DIFFERENCE that jumped out at me is this now has Ketoconazole at 0.9% in it. I have been historically using the blue version and using Nizoral Ketoconazole shampoo twice a week (marketed for dandruff at $14 per bottle and available at target) which is typically used as the only ingredient in lots of expensive hair loss shampoos out there! So Pura D' Or has taken my advice!...and have added a very important ingredient to this mix. Answer:	: The new formula is Terrible and the company denies changing it from the original gold label with coal tar and keto. They said it must have been a bad batch. I ordered another and it was worse! Even more watery. I tested it versus the last of the original I had left over (for the second time) in a travel bottle and it was even lighter in color and dropped to the bottom instantly. Like a liquid hand soap. The former quality formula takes a few seconds to the reach the bottom. A few ingredients are omitted/changed, it’s about 60% more watery, has a different scent, a slightly different color, and causes rapid shedding and itching after every use. This was my go-to for dermatitis and hair loss... it was amazing and the only shampoo on the market like it. And now that the company is being extremely shady, I might Stop using their other gold label product every day. This stuff is garbage now. So disappointing. It took me many years to find it. Please change It back.

Answer:	The bottle I have has "0.9% ketoconzole" listed on the front of the label. However, I would IMPLORE you to reconsider your purchase and seek hair thinning relief elsewhere. I've been using this shampoo near daily for over a month and feel my hair looks WORSE for it then when I started!!! I actually use Selsun Blue as a relief and it makes my hair took 10 times better!
