Answer:	It slides off and on. The replacement slipped off a bit, so to remedy that, there is a tiny screw at the top of the nail grinder (on my version anyway). I tightened the screw and it kept the band on. Works great. Be sure not to hold the grinder on dog nail for more than a few seconds. Gets painfully hot. I tested it on my nail. My dog will not tolerate clippers so grinding works for us.

Answer:	hello,the blades of the scissors are forged,and the handle of the handle are cast.
Question:	How do I sharpen these? I only used them a few times and they are already dull
Answer:	The regular plain edge shears will cut all split ends whereas the texturizing pair with cut some but not all of yours split-ends.

Answer:	I didn’t check it but I don’t think so because they are very well made super sharp almost cut my finger, very accurate, great grip. :-)

Answer:	I believe for thinning but they should work for texturizing also. I will say, they are great and very sharp. Do a little at a time because they do the job and it’s possible to thin/texturize to much quickly.
