Answer:	It's just a fabric made of nylon, polyester- what is in microfiber. No- no issues, it's a microfiber towel, so if you don't have issues with microfiber you will be fine.

Initially bought it when my hair reached my waist and was fine then, but now using regular bath towels for my longer hair. However, could be longer because I usually invert my hair to have the knot on top of my head to slip into the band at the back of my head. For reference, since I can't really measure my hair length, I'm 5'1 and normal length torso.
