Answer:	Yes the EcoID fingerprint reader does work with LastPass. Note that I believe LastPass charges a small fee to use biometrics with their software. But that may be depend on the version you use/purchased ? It has been tested at BIO-key LastPass.

Answer:	According to their website it is Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.

Answer:	I don't believe the hardware OEM provides any software. Most of the drivers are on the OS side. Win 10, in my case. I would check with your operating system help pages to see what it supports. One tip, on another topic, on this product though. Since the reader pad is small, you'll find that using the thumb--versus other digits--improves performance. It gives the drivers more data points to read so you don't have to move your fingers as much.

Answer:	It is a fingerprint scanner. It scans your fingerprints then sends the data to a PC to check for security authorization for access. They are popular among law enforcement for comparing scanned prints to known criminals.

Answer:	This unit is unsupported hardware only. There is no software or support provided. Additionally this unit only works on Windows XP - Windows 7. It will not function under Windows 8 and is incompatible with Windows 10.

Answer:	Don’t know what that is. We use with a time clock program to sign in and sing out.

Question:	Will this read a finger regardless of which way the finger is oriented
Answer:	If you have a modern Mac, it will not work. They stopped developing updates for it after OSX 10.8. If you are running a newer version of OSX or MacOS, it will not work.

Answer:	I've never used last pass. I cannot answer that question. It works with Windows Hello and there was nothing in the instructions documentation regarding it being compatible with Windows Hello nor Last pass so deductive reasoning says its quite possible, but again I cannot provide a definitive answer.
Question:	My fingerprint scanner doesn't work after shutdown i have to log in for it to start working, can i fix this
Answer:	I just tried it on my HP Spectre and NO. It's OFF In sleep mode, no power is getting to the fingerprint reader. I left the screen up and tried the reader and it didn't work. I closed the screen by lowering it, and open it up, turning ON the laptop, giving power to the reader.

Answer:	What operating system are you using?It is designed for Windows 10 and you don't need any drivers for it since it will be detected and installed automatically. You won't notice a difference once it installs because it doesn't add any software. For you to start using it, you need to go to account settings in Windows (Password and PIN must be already set or you will have to set them first) and then you will see a new option, Windows Hello, in which you can add your fingerprints and start using them to log on instead of your pin or password. For more information google how to configure Windows Hello.Now, if you are using an OS other than Windows 10 I'm afraid you're out of luck. I don't think the manufacturer ever developed any drivers for something different than Windows 10 with Hello.Bonus TIP: If after saving your fingerprint you have issues getting the sensor to recognize it, try saving it again without deleting the old one. Save it as a new finger (actually using the same one you used before) and it will greatly improve the recognition.

Answer:	It actually will work just fine.. It needs to be configured on a pc.. and then it functions just fine. The public partition will open immediately .. and then you just place your thumb on the drive.. wait a few seconds.. then the secure partition will open. I put a test file on each partition and they both opened properly. 10/2/20 . Perhaps an earlier version did not. I also used it with the Apple ( not a knockoff) Apple Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter. and accessed it with the "Files" app.

Answer:	Yes: per the manual FAQ: "The secure partition is designed to close after 15 minutes of inactivity for security purposes. To re-access the secure partition, simply place an authorized fingerprint on the sensor and it will re-open."

Answer:	Probably but per the FAQ on the Lexar website: "Although booting from the USB flash drive is possible, this is not a feature supported by Lexar. The USB flash drive is designed to be used as a storage device."

Answer:	Yes, depends on form.
Question:	Does it work with Roboform
Answer:	No at this moment.Driver currently support only windows. In case linux native level support fingerprint then probably this should work.
Question:	Is device compatible with LastPass password management
Answer:	The VeriMark USB Fingerprint Key is not supported on Mac OS. It will only work on Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.
Question:	Is this reader for Windows login only? Or can it support online sites
Answer:	No, The device is not compatible with Mac OS or Chrome OS (Chrome Books).

Question:	Where do I get the driver for this device? Windows 10 is not automatically installing it, nor is it in 'optional updates', even after a reboot. 20H
Answer:	Mine was in the optional updates, but only after I installed all the USB related optional updates first. I did that, then a reboot and the fingerprint driver showed up there.
