| Answer: | It’s hard to tell without a picture. #17 is supposed to be lighter that a #7, not darker. As someone that does this for a living, my best guess would be given the recent Covid shortages, the supplier might have attempted to create a #7 from a #17 by dyeing it. They obviously failed. What will most likely happen after installation and a few shampoos it will get lighter...just how light? Your guess is as good as mine. If it starts off wrong, it will remain that way. Send it back. |
