Answer:	No, it's Salon Express brand, like it says right in the listing. But it's just as good as Konad, in my opinion. Mostly with Konad I feel you're just paying for the name. I bought some of these SE plates, and have no complaints. If you wanna spend the big bucks on Konad, go ahead. But I wouldn't waste my money. The only Konad item I feel that's worth the money is their stamping polish. But even there, you can find other brands that work just as well, for less $$.

To explain, the different grit levels in typical Metal Nail Files are similar to those of sandpaper, i.e. the higher the number the smoother the file (or the number of pieces of grit per square inch). In regards to Czech Glass Files, because the grit is formed out of the body of the file itself, and not manufactured then attached to the file separately like it is with metal files and emery boards, determining grit in a classic sense is a little more difficult. Bona Fide Beauty offer two types of grit, both of which fall within a 240 grit range. The Unicorn file is a fine grit file, which is most likely a 200 - 400 grit range - so 220 - 240 is an accurate estimation (please refer to our grit reference below) BFB’s fine grit Czech glass files are ideal for people with nails that are on the thin,, fine, sensitive or fragile side of the ‘nail spectrum’ - or people simply looking for a very gentle nail fine for shaping and finessing the nail’s edge. Sometimes used to lightly etch the natural nail in preparation for product. Grits higher than 220 are good for filing, shaping and smoothing acrylic nails as well as the free edge of natural nails.
