Answer:	When I experience interior body sensations like this I find it helpful to use tiger balm (drastically different product than this, I know) but the sensation tiger balm causes distracts me (my brain) and is so helpful. For other body pains I'll even put a bit of tiger balm under my arm or another sensitive spot to help confuse my nerves. Sounds like your rash might be a psychological response (I know mine is sometimes psychological, and other times it can, of course, be a real rash on which I would totally use this tea tree balm).
