Does this work with regular nail polish

Answer:

The 1st one I got didn't have all of the attachments and was rather loud. The 2nd one I got had all the attachments, the sand paper disks spin when you try to use them. The 2nd one is relatively quiet. If you have a sound sensitive dog you will have to slowly desensitize them to the sound of any the grinders - it is impossible for any of them to be soundless. My previous dog was very sound sensitive and I couldn't use any grinder with him. My current dog is emotionally sensitive and has broken sesamoid bones in both front feet. I use treats and run the grinder away from him, and treat him. Over time I can run it near his nails - treat - sometimes touch the nails -treat. A slow process. If the disks fit without spinning I would probably be able to grind them by now. No guarantee if your dog will tolerate the sound of any grinder. I didn't find the 2nd grinder that loud. Good luck.
