Answer:	Yes, but if you're trying to file them to reduce the width, I wouldn't recommend it. You would likely send up causing the white tip part of the nail to lift at the sides. The nails can be filed on the sides and the top to smooth any rough edges. They are thick and take some getting used to over thinner nails. Hope this information helps.
