Answer:	I originally purchased it for my beard. I tried using it for a while (in leu of Burt's Bees Miracle Salve). While my beard did get a bit softer, I was also left with a greasy face all day - even if I used modest amount. I didn't care to smell it under my nose all day and might have continued using it otherwise despite the greasiness. Since then, I've been using Gold Bond Intensve Therapy scentless cream and have been getting much better results.TL:DR version: Good, not great. Greasy. Smelly okay, but gets old.

Answer:	They don't have marked expiration dates but as with most cosmetic type products there is a symbol on it that looks like a plastic container or round container that is open with a number on it. The hand salve has 12m marked on it which means you should toss it after using it for 12 months.

Castor oil is made by extracting oil from the beans of the Ricinus Communis plant. Rich in humectants, castor oil improves moisture retention and prevents water loss through the outer layer of the skin. Castor oil's major components also have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties which, together with the oil's moisturizing properties, promotes the healing of wounds and the soothing of dry and irritated skin.

Sunflower Oil

A rejuvenating oil, sunflower seed oil softens, prevents moisture loss, and facilitates the skin’s regeneration. Our cold pressed sunflower seed oil is sourced from southern Spain.

From the beginning

Since the early 1900’s, a passion for beekeeping connected our family. It all started with our great-grandfather Gheorghe (pictured in the mid 1960’s) as he tended to his beehives in Bulci, a very small village in Romania. His son – our grandfather – Stefan inherited and continued the practice in his hometown, Capalnas. The family tradition has then been passed down to our father, who still tends to his beehives right here in Ontario, half a world away from home.

Knowledge was passed down from father to son, up until today. What they didn’t know then was that decades later, our family’s passion for beekeeping would become the catalyst for transforming pure ingredients from the beehive into natural skincare products.
